Amazing quality and design. Love day trip
New York City guide contains nothing above UWS/UES. (There was one “curated” East Harlem entry — for a cafe that was clearly in Greenpoint, according to the caption, but just mislabeled on the map.) Seems very incomplete and unreliable.

Once I made my first post (“daylog”), I was hooked. This app is so much fun and provided countless recommendations during my Asia trip.
I hope they keep it as clean and sleek as it is now as they continue to develop the app and user experience. Definitely has a lot of potential to be a huge social platform one day. Get in while it’s still early.

You immediately ask me to sign up, which yelp does but they have a skip option to simply use the app.
It's understandable if I miss out on some features because I chose not to sign up but I can’t understand why apps insist on getting my contact details before I even know if I like what they are offering.
In a privacy aware world this kind of friction matters and you should put in the effort to avoid it and drive conversion based on feature excellence.
