Love Aardman, love this app
I just started watching Aardman, and there movies are pure gold. From Wallace and Gromit, to Chicken Run, I loved them all. This app is great for recreating that look from those movies, and it’s fun! 10/10, for sure.

It’s a nice simple app, I’d give it 3.5 if they let me do halves.
Needs options for importing audio instead of just recording!

Transcribed from my 6yr-old cousin… “It’s really, really good. I like that it makes movies and that I can make movies. It’s easy to use. I have already made 3 Lego movies and we only started yesterday.”
I downloaded this app for my young cousin to make stopmotion Lego movies as he loves Lego. The app is easy to use and very intuitive. Within a few minutes he was able to copy and delete slides, was rewatching the movie and changing between the editor and the live cam easily. I have been able to download the videos to my phone and upload them easily to WhatsApp for the family to see.
I am amazed that this remains free and very grateful! It’s a super app for young children to get into the concept of stopmotion and I’m sure will be a firm favourite for years to come.

iOS 17 bug?
Since updating to iOS 17 when I export a sequence, the proportions are wrong. It seems like it’s exporting in 9:16 but then also making it fit 16:9 so my videos look really stretched out. I was able to export from the same sequences correctly on ios16
A weird thing happened…
I made a really cool film and was sooo proud of what it was so far, however, when I came back (up to about 215 or 214 frames into it) all the rest of the frames were completely covered up in absolute WHITE…..so I decided to give it a one other try. I remade most of the same movie and as soon as I either named or left any recent movie, it would do the white frame thing. These frames would not play in it as well…😡…but please please do fix this as more and I MEAN way more people will definitely find this bug and probably stop playing and making on this awesome and easy to use app!

Tons of features for a free app, please think about adding volume button to trigger the camera shutter so that hands free triggers work with it

Hey aardman your app is need to be fixed because I made a animatshon and it deleted some of the photos and it replaced with white black page Can you fix it please
Amazing!
This app is fab and I love how easy it is to add sound. However, I made an (admittedly a very long) animation and towards the end the screen goes blank but the sound plays on. As my last app deleted all my animations in one go this is fine for me, but for other people it may be annoying. Also could do with some more tools to edit with, but when my things are fixed I will rate it five stars and recommend it to everyone!
