Love the VPN connection, it is so much more secure.!
I’ve had trouble with people jumping on my wireless. Identity theft and more, I had such an uneventful day for the 1st time after installing this browser and was so productive.

Great Browser, But Not Perfect!
I had the Avast Secure Browser for years now, & never used it until now. My default browser of choice was Chrome, but that browser has to many problems, & did not load fast. The Avast Secure Browser is fast, & secure, to fits my browsing needs.EHMAM

I was the victim of a phishing scam and bad actors gained access to my bank accounts. While no software can replace common sense, and I bare the responsibility for what happen, I was very disappointed with the fact that my security suite at the time (from a very well known brand) did nothing to warn me of my mistake. Aside from properly educating myself in all things internet security, I went on to try several products to compare and decide the best option for my needs. Norton, Bitdefender, and Avast made the Final Cut and from those, Avast was the clear winner! Excellent detection methods deliver quick scans with great results. Simple to use interface that provides the right amount of control without getting lost in a sea of options. Unmatched privacy tools (part of my suite but often sold separately). Ransomware mitigation that is simple to setup. Very useful tools like sandbox and email guardian. The ‘bank mode’ works much better than others I tried. And so much more. Now, there’s not a feature in avast that a competing suites does not have, however, none of them offers all of it like avast does.Show lessjcas9855

I was traumatized from System Mechanic/iolo
customer service and thankfully they gave
me a refund for my entire account so I can
switch. They tried to take control of my
computer through remote session, would not
let me move my mouse to cancel the session
and tried to sell me $240 for several years of
live tech. Would not listen to me when I said
no several times. I was done. Found out avast
had everything an antivirus software needs
and decided to buy it. I had some trouble
setting up a feature so I called customer
service. They are fantastic. They didn't even
try to sell me another product and helped me
fix my issue. I am buying everything they have

This stuff even scans the bios while my PC is starting up, and guess what? Of course Microsoft has been sending out patches that just clog your computer's CPU with crap!

Update: when I used "system-wide" VPN (across all apps), my iPad is maddeningly slow. It was practically impossible to do anything with my photos/camera roll. I circumvent this problem by turning OFF system-wide. I use VPN on Avast Browser only. Back to 5 stars. I've encountered a few other annoying situations (logging in to social media when it does not recognize me, and annoying Google CAPTCHA's) as well. Usually it blocks ads, as promised. I do like the app's search engine to discover a variety of PDF's, eBooks, new sites, and other items. This is my first experience with VPN. I'd say the benefit outweighs the liability of slowing things down, at this point. I do trust the Avast brand; I've been using their antivirus software for years.Show lessBAR112
I like it seem so far the one that’s work for me
It good to have at first I thought it wasn’t working but yes it’s works you pay the full service and it help stop hackers and videos don’t keep playing when I played some games and less you decide to turn off the button to let it allow to but I don’t I like keeping playing without any problems. I also enjoyed where you can go anywhere on any app but there times the app itself turn the off switch idk why but I alway keep checking it out and update when there one. Sure if need something to keep you safe and want to explore on the internet without being bothered I get this if I was you. Thanks again everyone keep up the good workShow lessdouglas7856
