Great app, amazing customer care

Love this app for editing fun flow videos. It’s constantly improving and getting more features. When I had some trouble (mostly operator error aka me) they were super quick to respond and help me out. I think they were about to hop on a plane but made sure I had my questions answered. Super good experience and love the app!

Exporting tip for users

If you’re having trouble finding your export because its not in the photos album it could be because you haven’t given the app permission to access your photos. Go to settings-scroll down to the app, then allow access to photos. Worked for me. Love this app!

Thanks for the tip and the review! I think we ask for permission on first use but maybe if the user accidentally hits no, then you need to manually set it.

App keeps crashing

I have an IPhone 11 Pro Max and just bought the all effects pack. The app keeps crashing! Not sure what to do

Pretty cool app; not as cool as Instagram is making out though

I may just not know how to use it!!! I also don’t knows where it’s exporting my videos to. Where are they devs?

I do love love love that there is an app catering to flow artists though. Good stuff. 🤙

They should appear in your photo album. On some devices there have been issues, we just released a new version that fixed some of them but Apple's video writing interfaces are very very finicky. We are continuing to improve as we figure out all the nuances. It terms of knowing how to use it, after the next iteration of UI improvements which should make some of the process more intuitive, we plan to make some tutorials to make it even more clear. Worth!

I’ve had this app on iOS since early release and it’s improved much over this past year. — If not only for the visuals, you’re truly able to see whether or not you’re creating clear shapes through the use of the app. — The Lines effect lets you see where cross points don’t exactly line up and as someone who is always seeking to clean up my movement, I appreciate this a lot. — You’ll need to tinker with the settings (instructions on Ian’s Instagram) a bit to get the right effects. Of course we’ll always want improvements, but there are already so many interesting things you can do. — My favorites right now are the regular trails with elongated trail time, Copy setting instead of Add, and the Edgelight filter. — If you have a strobe effect on your prop, try adding just 1 unit of frame skips and watch the trails pop! — I’ve seen a lot of double staff edits recently that look amazing with the mirrored filter. — I’ve recently been experiencing some import issues, but hoping a reinstall of the app will fix that. — Thanks for creating and continuing to develop this app, Ian <3 I’ve had a lot of fun visually experimenting while still being able to more easily discern areas in my spinning that need improvement.

Almost there!

Really amazing app! Although I wish this didn’t compress the video so badly as this is a major limiting factor. After spending the $3 to unlock the product, I’m a little disappointed that this isn’t fixed.

Please fix it in the near future and I promise this app will take off!

Sorry for the delayed response and thank you for the feedback. It is hard to trace down why the videos are compressed at all because nothing in our image processing flow does that explicitly. That being said the image processing is intensive so if we could improve the quality, the image processing would suffer. We are trying to improve this but we still haven't found the right way yet.

Cant access effects

The bar at the top that says props / effects / restore purchases won’t work. I just downloaded the app but it refuses to work :( I was so excited for this app since I’m a flow artist but it won’t work. I have the newest version and newest iOS.

oh no! What phone do you have? I just tried to fix that for larger iphones, the fix is in 1.10.1 which was released this morning I believe. Try it out and see if that solves the problem. I will work to fix it if not, thanks!

Stopped working

I tried this app out a while ago. Seems like the new version has some trouble detecting my props or something. Hoping for a fix because it was pretty cool the first time I played with it.

Hey, I'm happy to address the issue! Some props are inherently hard to detect, and sometimes the effects fade unintentionally with different interactions like dragging. Also, the latest version is 1.9.1 so check if updating fixes your issue. What happened???

I got this app months ago and loved it, five stars. But now the effects won’t show up. I paid extra for more effects and nothing is happening.

Hey I'm sorry I'm just seeing this today! I am just getting the hang of managing the app store process. I recently heard of another user with a similar problem. 1) Try upgrading to 1.8.0, it has some fixes and improvements. 2) If 1) doesn't help, please send me the sequence of events that lead to the issue and also feel free to send a screen recording of that sequence to @arflowarts on instagram!
