Love this product for its functionality!!
Using this app with Windy nation, GC 10 solar charge controller on a Golf Cart build. If the Golf Cart is setting around, it is charging as long as the sun is out, my problem is that I have multiple golf carts and the app has no way to identify each Bluetooth connection. In the app, we should have the ability to change the name that is broadcasted.

Constantly loses Bluetooth Connection
While the app works well when connected, it constantly drops the Bluetooth connection when not in use, and won’t reconnect on its own. You have to actually close the app and restart it in order to reconnect the Bluetooth. This is incredibly frustrating and was clearly not tested fully during development.
I’m using it with an HQST solar charge controller which is a great piece of hardware hamstrung by a poorly developed app.

Grape solar charger app
Got the Grape Solar 60 amp charger and had to dig to find this app. It is not listed in the instructions. The one that is doesn’t work. You have to call Grape Solar to get this app. Not much good about it. The colors are terrible and make it hard to read. It also disconnects often and you need to reconnect. To connect you have to dig into the app to get hooked up. It does work, but has a terrible look.

Good But Could Be Better
I am not sure if this works with all solar controllers that have Bluetooth, but this does work with a solar controller from Grape Solar.
This app contains a lot of data but for a person who is not familiar with all the Termanology, there could be some kind of page in the app that explains what each of the statistics are for. Under Parameter Settings, there are a number of items that show up, but only one of the items can be changed. That item is System Voltage. When I entered the app for the first time, I couldn’t figure out how to add a Bluetooth device. The plus sign should be changed to text that says “add device” or add “Bluetooth device” or something similar. In summary, this app has good potential but needs better communication.

Very handy app app but wish it offered a battery power percentage reading
This app is very helpful for helping me monitor my solar charging controller. It simply connects my smartphone through Bluetooth with my controller. I do wish, however, it offered a way to read how much battery power my solar battery has. The controller offers that percentage reading on its device but I have it tucked away out of sight. So listing that on the app would be so helpful. It lists pretty much every other read out. I even appreciate that I can turn on and off the DC load.
