Seems like a good start

Seems pretty decent. Any chance there may be a desktop browser extension?

Thank you for using DoMarks! If you are using DoMarks for macOS, you'll be able to install the Safari extension. This adds a new icon to your toolbar that lets you quickly mark the site you're currently viewing.

End Bookmark Chaos

I found this app while grumbling over my current bookmarking system, or lack there-of. This is roughly my 12th year owning iPhones (hard to believe!) and the bookmarks have gotten out-of-hand. I recently started a system using Notes, but it still isn’t optimal. DoMarks is a practical, logical solution.

Now the bad news. I would spend $20 for Premium one time, but not yearly. Just like with bookmarks, subscriptions quickly get out of hand. I don’t consider myself cheap but my kids are in college, I retired early due to illness, and I have to assign value to my spending. This is the sort of does-one-job-well app for which a pricey yearly subscription isn’t a good or wise value (for ME; others may feel differently.) Sorry, just being honest.

Love the app

Brilliant organising app for things to do later, would like to see more tags available for free users or a one time purchase rather than subscription

Absolutly Essential

This is simply a must-have for anyone who uses the internet.

Thank you for developing this. I cant even count all the plug-ins, apps, plain .txt. files, notes & hashtag attempts I've made over years to try to create something like this.

This app is absolutly essentially, once you download it you'll ask yourself why something so simple, took so long to perfect. I'd glady pay 10x the price just to support the development and ensure it's longevisty. This app is far too cheap considering $1.99 gives you access to it on iphone, iPad, AND MacOS

My only feedback would to please add a tip jar if you're content with the price. I've already stored countless links in the three days since I've purchased this, and my only fear is that it's price-point will stunt future development.

Anyways, awesome work.

Import from Safari?

If you use apps like Pocket or WeCollect, you can export links right into the app. This really needs to do that for it to be functional for me…

Hello, In the share sheet, you'll find "Add to DoMarks". An improved Share Extension will also be coming later this year. Thank you for your feedback!

Clever idea must have

Great way to stay organized

Great App - Needs Sorting

Love the app and use all the time. It would be ever so helpful if you could add the simple feature of being able to sort you items by tag and/or action though. While $20 a year is very reasonable, a lifetime purchase option would be great. Thanks.

Great app…but for the pricing!

Does what it says on the tin. Lots to like.

Hope the dev does reconsider the pricing, however. I'm not going to be as over-the-top as another review that claims to be "offended" at the pricing—I respect that devs gotta eat and want/need projects that are sustainable—but I'm waiting on a lifetime option at the least before I think of going premium.

In terms of value, I can't help but think about something like iOS OmniFocus, which—although not a direct competitor to this app—does MUCH more, was $49.99 one time and I've used for 3 years. While DoMarks is a great example of a "Do one thing well" app, it is still only one thing relative to something like OF, and yet, over 3 years...this costs more.

If, say, the pricing was

- $.99/month
- $9.99/year
- $29.99/lifetime

I'd jump right on that lifetime as that's low enough to A) avoid the hassle/fatigue of subscriptions; B) be an impulse purchase and C) show faith in the prospect of future development.

Perhaps I'm not the only one, and lowering the bar of entry to premium would get more people in the door?

Thank you for using DoMarks. I'm glad you like it! You're not the only one asking for a lifetime option. I'm happy to say that one is coming in a future update. Thank you for the honest feedback. I'm always open to it, and you're always welcome to reach out via any of the methods in the Settings screen.

Great so far. Wish I could purchase, not rent

Great little app. Bookmarks have always been a pain.We know that bookmarking things in our web browser just leads to hundreds of bookmarks that we forget about. Do Marks is great for several reasons which you can read in the description. It does what it says. Most importantly, it’s easy (small learning curve) and simple to use with a clean, intuitive interface. The fact that you can categorize bookmarks according to action, “read, buy” etc. As well as label with (your choice)Allows you to group bookmarks according to projects.
For example, you can either view all “buy” bookmarks regardless of project or choose to view all bookmarks relating to a particular project (name of your choosing)
It surprises me that bookmark apps are few and far between. I’ve had several over the years that are no longer supported or fell by the wayside for one reason or another.Somewhere good but none were better than do marks.
My only complaint is the payment structure. There is no way to purchase. The only option is to rent for $19.99 per year. I understand why developers like this fee schedule but unless you have thousands of bookmarks to keep on a regular basis, it’s a bit much. I would’ve given five stars if I could purchase the premium upgrade if only to support the developer. Sadly, all we can do is rent.
All that being said, I still recommend Do Marks. It does what it says. You will not be disappointed.

Great App For Bookmarks

If you have many tabs open in safari or bookmarks that you wanna organize, this app will help you get the job done. Works great too.
