  • Awesome time management

Just began to use this for practice and also a local match. Through my Apple Watch I Bluetooth link to my hearing protection. Read the description to see all that has to offer but for me the verbal in my ear was spectacular. I didn’t have to look at the timer. Just set the timer up, a flick of the wrist starts the timer. It’s like having a friend countdown for you while you’re shooting the stage

  • Having some issues.

Cool app. Main reason was to have a 20 sec alert and a countdown from 10. The timer is working and the alarm at 20 with vibration is working. But the voice at 20 is not. Nor is it counting down from 10-0 audably. 🤷🏻‍♂️. Volumes are up and all things are set correctly as far as I can see. So I figured maybe something happened in downloading. So I removed from watch. Now I can’t get it back on the watch. Only shown as purchased on App Store but no option to download again to watch. So $20 gone. Is it even possible to get money back? 🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

  • Awesome tool but for diff purpose than expected

I bought an Apple Watch just for this app. Figured it would help me on stages with a ton of movement so I’d know when time was getting tight. It will do that easily but that’s not the best use imo

I rarely time out more than 3-4 stages a season. I move way too fast. This app helps me realize I have WAY more time than needed on many stages and I can slow down and make good decisions without the stress of the clock. Priceless info and mental wellness immediately

    Well done Joe!

  • Just OK

Great concept and simple design however I have 2 complaints. #1 the voice alarm is so quiet it’s virtually useless. I would like to hear the voice alarm at 30 seconds remaining and you just can’t hear it at all. #2 if I move my wrist the timer turns upside down??? No idea what the point of that is but it’s completely annoying. I think it could be a great tool for NRL22 and PRS matches with these two fixes but no way is it worth $20 for the app. I’m going back to a $2 kitchen timer until these issues are fixed.

Make sure the volume is up on your watch. Are you using ear plugs? electronic ones? Most people are using electronic ear plugs or bluetooth earplugs. If not, it may be tough to hear. That is a limitation of the Apple Watch though. Nothing to be done about that. Same for the screen flipping. Most apps have the screen go blank when your wrist is turned sideways. This stays on but flips like your iphone does. Again, an Apple Device limitation.
  • Great app for PRS/NRL matches!

This app is awesome for prs style matches. It’s intuitive and simple to use. The only thing I wish it would support is being able to listen to music while using the timer. If you listen to music while shooting or practicing, the voice prompts will not work through AirPods if Spotify for example is on. Other than that it’s an awesome app!!

That would be nice if you could do that. Unfortunately, it is an Apple device limitation. Nothing we can do about it in software.
  • I bought an Apple Watch just for this app

This app has really helped me with pacing and getting better at time management, particularly for 90 second stages. I use it for dry fire and at matches. I had struggled to find an app that was useful for dry fire practice, but this is simple to use and works incredibly well.

For match use, it is a huge advantage to have an accurate countdown you can rely upon to get that last shot off and this app puts that information right on your wrist. It’s like having someone giving you perfect time calls, but without worrying about the person being accurate/reliable. It’s one less stressor while on the clock.

  • No Widget for the watch to have easy access!

App works great! but the Fact that you have to press 2 to 3 buttons to get to the app is not helping when you try to hold rifle, Bag etc etc!

please create a widget or make it accessible to place app in the front of the app, Thank you!

    Developer Response

Most people who use the watch are setting their watch for the READY screen before getting their rifle and bags ready. Then it is just one button to press before the RO says ENGAGE! I am not sure what you mean by "placing app in front of the app." If you see me at a match (wearing a PMT shirt) come and see me. I'll help you out.
  • purpose built for prs style matches

simple and just what i was hoping someone would come up with. works great. only want is it would be nice if the orientation didn’t try to flip back and forth with my hand position. thanks for creating this.
  • Great app.

This app is built specifically for the match shooter in mind. It only work with iWatch and is 100% flawless for me. It has helped me manage my time behind the gun and on props better. I use it during dry fire practice and live matches. It sounds expensive for an app, but don’t eat 1 meal out that week and the app is covered. If it’s something to help you manage your time on the clock it is worth it.

  • Great Resource For Time Management

I’ve been looking for something very similar to this for a bit. Well done for the first revision. I look forward to added features as the app progresses. Well done and is a great resource for time management when training with shot timers or during a match with shot timers.
