The app was designed to provide a platform which enables our Muslim brothers and sisters around the world to diarise and take account of our 5 daily mandatory prayers before we are held accountable by Allah. We have created a vibrant and stimulating platform which allows you to manage and track your prayer progress, view and update previous prayers as well as offering a statistical breakdown which will enable you to critically reflect on the progress of your Salah. Fundamentally, the app allows you to take ownership of your Salah, with the fundamental purpose of enabling you to be more mindful and attentive of each passing prayer. The app should be treated like a personal diary, and prayer information should be updated and used irrespective of whether you are praying full time, praying some of your daily prayers or not praying at all, as the app will act as a graphical overview of your progress and In Shaa Allah (if Allah Wills) one day when you do decide to pray will be the springboard to support you to pray full time. Prayer (Salah) is the second pillar of Islam, and is a daily obligation upon all Muslims above baligh (mature) age and is the act of offering prayers to Allah SWT. We fast just one month a year, we must give zakat once a year, and Hajj is only once a life time, however, Prayer is the one act that must be fulfilled at least five times a day, regardless of the circumstance. The principle of salah is to ensure Muslims maintain their faith and devotion to Allah SWT, to increase taqwa (closeness to Allah SWT) and to remain conscious of the importance of faith and submission to their Creator.
