We are working on improving the accessibility of our app. Last update, we updated the Today tab; this update brings improvements to the Learn, Act, and Shop tabs, along with the resource detail pages. These pages now support dynamic text sizes and is better optimized for use with VoiceOver on iPhones running iOS 14+. We are also working to expand the Shop tab to let you find the perfect Black-owned business to meet your needs, with new categories and filters. Check it out and let us know what you think!

There are now more ways than ever to submit resources that you want to see in the app! Just hit the plus in the top right corner of resource pages and choose whether to fill out the submission form yourself, or submit a url and have us do the rest. We are also working on improving the accessibility of our app, beginning with the Today page. This page now supports dynamic text sizes and is better optimized for use with VoiceOver on iPhones running iOS 13+. Check it out and let us know what you think!

New widgets bring BLM Digest resources to your phone's home screen! With a Today widget you can see the daily resources, and with a Resources widget you can select a category of resource and have resources from that category that refresh throughout the day.

We do our best to make sure the resources in the app are accurate and up to date, but with 340 resources and counting, we aren't always perfect. If you find a mistake that we've missed, help us out by reporting the resource and we'll take care of tidying things up.

February is Black History Month! Keep checking back all month long, as we'll be bringing you new resources on the today page every day. This update also provides fixes to make your home screen widgets work more smoothly and to improve the search function to make sure you can find the resources you're looking for. We try to keep the launch time for the app to a minimum, but now your loading screen will also feature quotes from prominent Black speakers so you can stay engaged even when waiting!
