  • Totally a trash

Try to create a new notebook. A message pop up in the bottom with a link saying if the new notebook isn’t open, you should click the link. Guess what? The link is not accessible …. Blocked by a banner…. It’s totally a joke.
  • Pretty good, but...

It's pretty good for being a free app, but the one thing that makes this lose a star is that there seems to be no way of saving files. I was using the ERSGAN Interference Demo, and at the end of all the steps, it downloads a .zip file of the image that I enhanced, but it doesn't save it anywhere on the device itself! Would love for it to allow saving of files in this app. Thanks.
  • Can’t connect to google drive

I think this version is so awful because I can’t connect to google drive using this version. I suggest the developer at least add this ability to the app.
  • Can’t link Drive

A message at the bottom reads, “Your URL should open in a new window. If it”
But the rest of the message is covered by the ad at the bottom, and the ad won’t go away. No new window opens.
  • Can’t even use it!

I can’t access the Java Script. It only allows Python! It’s terrible!😡
  • Add dark mode, otherwise great!

Love having this mixed markup/code editor on my phone! Super easy to test out new code techniques in short python snippets and then write notes about them, very useful for teaching yourself to code. And all in my Google drive workspace, so accessible anywhere. Thanks so much!

Just pleeeease add dark mode! 5 stars otherwise!
  • Fake not google colab

This is a fake app it’s not google colab don’t download it

This app is not attempting to advertise itself as Google Colab. If you read the app description, you’ll notice that this is an application that provides a mobile web browser with adaptations to make certain websites such as Google Colab easier to use on mobile devices. You are misinforming and misleading other users by stating to them that this app claims to be something that it actually does not. Please do not leave misleading and unhelpful reviews.
  • Cannot access Google Drive

I logged in my google drive account but nothing showed up in the file browser under the the google drive tab.

Hi, this is not a fault in the application, but rather a fault in your usage of the application. To link Google Drive in a notebook, you’ll have to click the link drive button the in file browser. This is made easier in the PRO version, but is still perfectly functional in the LITE version!
  • Doesn't allow me to create a new Colab Document

Got this for Google Colab functionality, but it doesn't seem to let me create a new empty project - might as well just edit in Safari.

Hi user! I’m sorry to hear about your disappointment regarding this issue. There is a solution to it, though (I’ll explain in a moment). First of all, the reason this happens is that the site was originally intended for a computer. For this reason, you may have noticed that the same issue occurs equally as often in your mobile browser, as well. Thankfully, however, there is a way to resolve the problem. Often, simply closing the menu and reopening it will enable you to successfully click to create a new project. I’ve reproduced the issue and resolved it in my own device several times in the past, so I can assure you that there is a fully-working solution to this. Thanks for helping to remind me to notify users of this. In a future update, I’ll notify new users of this when they initially open the application. Also, if you’re worried that the application is lacking in features asides from your preferred site (Colab) at the moment, I’m glad to tell you that a PRO version of the application is currently in review, and will be released when it is approved by Apple (24-48 hours). This version includes built-in Python and ML libraries documentation, several other online notebook websites, and various other programming-related sites (GitHub, Geeks For Geeks, etc). In total, it contains 38 sites at the moment, and allows you to customize your tab bar. Full dark mode compatibility and various bug fixes present in the version you are currently using are included as well. Note that Programming Notebook PRO will be an entirely separate application, not an in-app purchase or app update. Many other features will be added to it shortly. Have fun!
