  • Navigate Pre-owned Tesla Terrain with "EV-CPO"

The allure of Tesla's electric automotive prowess is undeniable, and for many, owning one is a dream. The "EV-CPO" app, retailing at $5 on the App Store, offers a mobile gateway to delve into the pre-owned Tesla market. Although the desktop version provides similar information for free, the convenience of browsing through a handheld device while on the move has its merit. Below is a balanced examination of "EV-CPO," shedding light on its notable features and areas poised for improvement.

    Pros:
    1. Advanced Filtering
    - The "EV-CPO" app distinguishes itself with an array of detailed filters, facilitating a targeted search based on specific car attributes. This feature is a step up from the filtering options on Tesla's official used cars website. For instance, the ability to filter by interior color is a boon for those with particular tastes - a feature I found invaluable given my dislike for white interiors.

    Cons:
    1. User Interface
    - Despite its price tag, the app's user interface leaves room for improvement. A more intuitive design could significantly enhance the user experience, particularly when compared to the free desktop version.

    2. Outdated Listings
    - The persistence of sold cars within the listings is a glaring issue. Encountering a sold car after navigating the filters can be quite disheartening.

    3. Redirect Glitches
    - Clicking on some cars unexpectedly redirects you to a generic Tesla model selection page, rather than the specific car's details. This misdirection can be irksome and disrupts the fluidity of the user experience.

    4. Sold Car Tracking
    - The absence of a mechanism to track sold cars is a noticeable oversight. Such a feature could provide real-time updates, aiding in prompt decision-making and enhancing user satisfaction.

In conclusion, "EV-CPO" is a commendable attempt at bridging the ease of mobile accessibility with the desire for owning a Tesla. Its advanced filtering is a robust tool for potential buyers. However, certain UX issues and the persistent appearance of sold cars in the listings dampen the overall user experience. The $5 investment is a fair trade for on-the-go access, especially for those keen on specific car features. Yet, a few refinements could propel "EV-CPO" from a good to a great app for Tesla enthusiasts.

  • Unable to se the complete VIN

I purchase this APP to really hunt the model 3’s during the December -2022 end of year sale period to utilize the 7500$ credit .

There was a lot of frenzy to purchase the model 3 and it was a nightmare to find one .

I was able to spot the New Model3 using this app but the VIN number displayed was trimmed off number but not the complete number so when I used to give the the call sales person they used to ask me to give the complete VIN number which I never get from this APP. Hence this was as good as not having this app .

So it wasn’t helpful for me .
