Grammar error
Call me a stickler, but a quote capture app should itself employ good grammar. When you share a quote, there is a grammar error in the auto-generated footer text: “…share you’re favorite quotes.” As a result, I can’t recommend it to clients with whom I work.

Great interface but many features missing
Have been looking for an app to run alongside my Goodreads account for the past year as I wanted a way to collate all quotes (which unbelievably still isn’t a feature on Goodreads)
This app ticked a lot of boxes and seemed to be everything I wanted upon first use. However quickly realised that data isn’t stored in a profile but on the individual phone/iPad meaning your profile can’t be accessed across different platforms. Also (worryingly) meaning should one lose or damage one’s phone then all the data and quotes carefully collated on the app will be lost. I see two solutions to this- either to be able to create a profile which can then be accessed on any platform OR suggest an option for exporting each set of notes/quotes on a book as a PDF (which can then be filed and kept elsewhere as the user wishes)

Nice if it improves more
It works well for what it does but it is quite limited. I’m not expecting a full Readwise competitor but there really needs to be ability to export markdown files or something similar, definitely some kind of full export.AvatarAustin

Works... BUT where’s the save and share?
The scanning seems to work well, but then my highlights are still stuck inside the app just like they are in Kindle and Apple Books. What’s the difference? Where is the share function so we can email all our notes and highlights to ourselves or post them on our social media? That would solve the limitations of Kindle and Apple Books.Show lesshotonsen41
