Reviews of The Tome

  • Absolutely perfect!

This is the app I was looking for. I use another app to run campaigns and manage encounters, but I wanted something on my iPhone that was just strictly a reference tool. This is perfect!
  • Simple and Effective

It works great but only holds the standard books for knowledge. The expansions are not added on to this app. I’d be more than happy to pay for premium if they are added. Great app for base game.
  • great tool

love the simplicity of this app; it does not try to do many things with mediocrity but does one thing and one thing well. works with XML files that are compatible with certain other D&D apps - i found that the import tool didn’t like when i had everything in one file, but if you import spells/monsters/items separately it seems to be smooth sailing. search is fast, one minor annoyance - you have to change between spells/monsters/items and cannot browse/search across all three categories at once. overall, this app is much nicer to use than doing a web search every time i need to reference something specific.
