A company listened!

Although it’s a different app, I still owe this one 5 stars because they actually listened and brought back the beloved feature as a different app. No point in giving it one star if my problem is no longer existing. Thanks for listening Discz!

Cool app for discovering music

When this app first came out I loved it. When you redesigned the entire app, I hated it but now that I’ve been using it for a while I’m starting to really like it again. The new features are cool but I think they need to be a little simpler to navigate through. Overall, this app is really promising and I hope you continue to make it better.

like both concepts, should be separate apps

for those unaware, you used to select music from clips recommended to you based on your preferences. there was no social aspect. this app helped me find a TON of my fav artists. the new concept is that you have ppl show up and you do the same thing. the issue i found personally is that it's hard to set a preference. if these were made by ppl but still had an algorithm i wouldn't mind, but it's nearly impossible to make the app have your preferences. for example, i'm not a big rap fan and prefer female artists. it's very difficult for me to find either of the 2. i'd be open to trying this app, but it's difficult to use.

Abysmal update

This new update is very disappointing, it feels like a completely different app as all the original features that once allowed it to carry out its designated purpose have been stripped away. It’s now become a sort of awful form of social media.

Update

The app has deteriorated after the recent major update. It looks much more unprofessional and messy. They tried to add to much at once when before it was perfectly fine. I could easily swipe through songs and effortlessly post. But now the app is unrecognizable, I now get 100 notifications every time I open the app because I joined 1 group. I also don’t know why they decided to remove the thumbnail of most of the music when viewing profiles, it just makes it look that much more bland and boring.

Not the same app anymore

I loved to use this app to find new music, I could give it a song or genre or tempo and it’d give me songs! Where’d this core feature go? Since the update it is just a social platform and the only “discovery” is other users curated mixes. Really disappointing.

Ruined

This used to be a fantastic app with amazing music recommendations. Not sure how many updates ago this changed but it’s now become a terrible new form of social media with so many unnecessary gadgets stuck on that it can’t be used for its original purpose anymore. Such a shame.

Better before the update

I used to love this app it was my go to when making a playlist i loved it so much i would use it almost daily tbh. But then it started getting updates and that’s when i really just stopped using it. My friends and I all agree we enjoyed when it was the older version this is making it so social media like which makes it a downgrade in my opinion. It’s not possible, or no where near as easy, to make a playlist with discz anymore because of the updates and because of this i can’t make playlist simply. I can still find new music yes, but i want to be able to make playlist. The update changed so much and really downgraded the app the groups seem nice but the comments and the point system type thing really seems unnecessary. The frames around the music also downgraded it, there’s so much going and i just really once again seems unnecessary. The updates made don’t seem to benefit the app much. I be tried sticking with discz with this update and trying to enjoy it but i am seriously considering switching to a different app for convenience and enjoyment.

Terrible. Change it back.

I use to have this app and found lots of songs I enjoyed on it. It helped me find new music, and was something I’d scroll on in my free time. I see it on a tik tok ad, thinking it’ll be the same thing, I download it again. This time I’m very disappointed. It doesn’t even recommend songs that are for your music taste. It just tries to get you to join groups and see other people’s mixes. Thoroughly disappointed. Waiting for it to be changed back.

It WAS good

Don’t get me wrong, the revamp looks cute. However, I used this app only for the Discover feature, and now it’s gone! I don’t wanna see other people’s recommendations, no offence to them, but it was nice to have the system find new songs and artists for me that were more underground. I’ll miss that feature.
