Better than Anki IMO
This is an excellent app & I’m really happy to have discovered it. I’ve found it to be better than Anki, with a better UX & more reliable functionality. Once you get a deck sorted, it’s super easy to use & handoff across all your devices. I was able to do a little practice on my watch! Overall, I’m glad I got in with Flippy early on. I got the lifetime subscription & I’m excited for any new features the developer rolls out, but I can’t really imagine it getting much better!

straight up doesn't work
In order to pull in data for your flashcards, you have to save as a CSV in UTF-16. I have tried every conceivable program, from Excel to Numbers to Libre Office to online reformatting tools. I even downloaded the example file the program recommends, deleted the data, filled it in with my own, and tried to import. Nothing makes it, no errors, nothing.

font size
you guys should try making the size of the font bigger when learning and editting the flashcards.

Hi! The font adapts to macOS settings. If you set a larger font there, it should adapt automatically inside the app. I'm also working on adding a toggle to make the font much larger ... coming soon!
discrimination
flippy won’t show a set in one of my topics when i go to learn them and it only shows one card from that set which is utterly ridiculous

It only shows the cards that need to be repeated. You can view all cards in an upcoming update if you‘re still interested :)
