Waste of phone storage
as part of a study although I have since
dropped out exclusively because of the apps
functionality. The purpose of the study and
the idea of the app is honourable although
the layout of the app itself and its
functionality discouraged me from using it
consistently as it was such a pain to navigate.
I've used other apps that let you see past
symptoms and dates in an easy way and are
way more intuitive than this app. The
organization is scattered, text flows off the
screen, language is wildly vague, and the
daily prompts are all on a Likert scale which
makes no sense (especially with no "idk" or
"neutral" options). It's clear they're going for
a "hip/modern" language use but tbh it can
tend to come off as unprofessional or
misplaced. Apps I've used in the past have
also just been way more inviting aesthetically appealing, clearly thought out, and inviting I
might feel differently, but for now that is my
perspective.
Response from developer
Thank you so much for your feedback. We're in the middle of an iteration on the Likert scale and your feedback is super appreciated. We totally agree that it can be cleaned up. If you have any thoughts on navigation in particular, outside of the scope of the study we're always open to feedback! Contact us at hello@mynormative.ca if you'd like to connect :) A quick update! We have updated the app to address the bug so, if you're still experiencing some of these problems, please do let us or your research coordinator know.
Clunky and unhelpful
So yeah I hate this app. Not sure I will make it the length of the study.
Response from developer
Thank you so much for this feedback, we apologise for the response lag- we don't get notifications with reviews. Without your submission we wouldn't have known the question mechanism is broken- we're working on a fix for it pronto. You're absolutely correct, sexual activity is on our road map for the future but, unfortunately not something we can track right now. A quick update! We have updated the app to address the bug so, if you're still experiencing some of these problems, please do let us or your research coordinator know. Quick follow up that I can help with- the window that pops up after a question is answered should immediately provide trends directly in response to the question answered- if this isn't what is happening, this is a new and unique bug. Could you send a screen shot to your research coordinator so we can keep you anonymous but still address the problem? A quick update! We have updated the app to address the bug so, if you're still experiencing some of these problems, please do let us or your research coordinator know.
