Reviews of Dog Game

  • Just play Cat Game.

    Despite this being a newer sister game to Cat Game, it feels like it’s just lacking in places where you would expect it to be the same or improved from the original game. I will say that I like that the dog designs are more varied in size and overall appearance than their cat counterparts, but if you have played both games, you will notice themes and items being recycled from CG quite a lot, and Dog Game doesn’t have as many unique themes.
    Also, it feels like basket spins have a way lower percentage. Why is it already at an 11% roll for the SECOND dog just a few floors from the start? Not to mention the mini games which you willl have to play frequently to keep up on crafting expenses seem to have less payouts and are missing a bracket between the top two score tiers, meaning you have to jump from an above average score to a nearly impossible score. There’s just a lot that CG handles better and I would recommend that one over this game if you’re going to only play one.

    Edit to review:I have more suggestions. Please add more variety to the daily contests. I swear I’ve had “Fire Contest” three times this week. There’s also so many similar themes: scary, evil, malevolent, witchy. How about: birthday, summer, glamour, industrial, bohemian, gamer… I can think of so many I’ve never seen! Also, please give us a filter to sort by color, core only, and premium only. I have 300+ dogs and the existing filters aren’t helpful.

However I have lots of suggestions to improve the game play. First, you have a million buttons to collect anything. When you win a prize, you have three taps when you only need one. Open the prize on touch one, then go back to the game automatically instead of collecting and continuing. During events, you have to swipe over to check your level which is annoying when you’re near the end. When opening the page, automatically show the current level instead of level one. In club notifications, I don’t need to see who is removed due to inactivity. Instead maybe tell me when someone updates their room in the clubhouse. These are just a few. Back to collecting!
