SHARING DOESN’T HAVE TO BE SCARY + AI TOOLBOX Resumes and cover letters are made for sharing, which is why we’re giving you even more sharing options directly inside the app. Among other options, you can now share your documents via a unique URL. Give it a try! Also, the sheer number of different AI features inside Kickresume was begging for a little spring cleaning. Now, you can find them all together in a separate section for AI tools called—surprise, surprise—the AI Toolbox. Lastly, we have also made several improvements on the back end of the app. It should now run a bit better and be bug-free.

TODAY’S YOUR DATE WITH OUR NEW UPDATE! Before I show myself out for that tagline, let me quickly tell you what’s new in this most recent release. You can now create an entire resume from scratch using AI directly from the dashboard. (Before, you had to generate it section by section.) We wanted to make the process of creating a CV faster and more accessible. The same goes for importing your old resume—it’s now in the dashboard. Additionally, we’ve added new alignment options for the hobbies and social media sections. It’s kinda hard to explain, so better give it a try and see for yourself. You might like it. Finally, as always, we smashed some bugs. So if you have a problem with bugs (I know we do), this should make your day a bit better.

HOP ON BOARD! IT’S ONBOARDING TIME! Some people like to find their own way. Others prefer to have someone show them around, guiding them to all the best spots. If you’re the second type, you’re going to love the newest little feature we’ve added to your favorite resume app. With this latest update, we’ve added onboarding. The app will now happily take you by the hand and guide you through the first steps of creating your resume. Not only does it make the whole process easier, but it also makes it faster, thanks to all the clever little things the app will do for you in the background. Give it a try! If you don’t like being guided, you can always skip it. It doesn’t get in the way when you don’t want it to. This, of course, isn’t the only improvement we’ve included in this latest release; just the most apparent one. There are a bunch of other little fixes and upgrades that happened under the hood. All in all, they should make your experience smoother, freer of bugs, and more stable. Yet again, we can safely say that it’s the best version ever!

If you’ve ever wished for a friend who would hear you out and write up your resume for you — we’ve got a new AI feature that does just that. Give it a try. Look for a button that says “Voice AI” on the resume edit screen. Simply press it, talk about yourself in your own words, and the app will transform whatever you say into a well-written resume section. (Okay, it’s not entirely like having a friend. It’s more like having a friend who’s only good for writing resumes.) Anyway, we hope you’ll like this new tool. We know we do. Not only will it save your time, it also works as a great accessibility feature for anyone who cannot or doesn’t like to write. Or for all those of you who for some reason prefer voice messages to texting. Oh, and we’ve also smashed some bugs. It’s spring where we live and those pesky insects started coming out again.

THIS UPDATE CHANGES EVERYTHING Okay, maybe not everything, but there’s still a lot to get excited about. In fact, it’s the biggest update we’ve had in the past year. NEW CUSTOMIZATION UI We’ve listened to feedback from you guys and completely overhauled the preview and customization UI. Now you can finally customize and preview your documents on a single screen, which makes resume creation on your phone much, much easier. Honestly, thank you for the suggestions. In hindsight, I don’t know why we didn’t do it like this from the start. AI INTERVIEW QUESTIONS If you’ve ever used Kickresume on desktop, you might already be familiar with this AI feature. Now, it’s available on the mobile app, too. It allows you to use AI to prepare for the most common job interview questions for your profession. It’s particularly handy for some last-minute interview prep when you’re already on your way to a job interview. BUGFIXING I don’t know how it happens, but these bugs keep appearing almost as fast as we keep smashing them. Almost. This newest version of the app should be, yet again, a bit faster and more stable than the last.
