Perfect
Good but needs improvement!
A welcomed addition of pinch and zoom on all the slides benefits us old timers that still use mini iPads.
Although it is an overall good app that covers if not all, most things. There is room for improvement. I mean it’s not cheap and hopefully the author will continue to improve it.
The app intermittently crashes 75% - 85% of the time. No real biggie because you just have to reopen and continue on where you were rudely interrupted... haha. But it happens more than is conducive to a easy flow learning environment. You then have to navigate through multiple menus if you can remember where you were to continue the chapter you were on. So it is frustrating.
The user interface needs a major overhaul. If you purchase the full product, why are we confronted with the App Menu and have to choose full (paid) or basic (free) version to open? It is very cumbersome and feels disjointed most times.
Another example, the Menus: if you’re in a section and want to return to the previous section page. There are multiple arrows indicating back. It’s like winning the lottery if you select the correct one. You may find yourself at the Main Menu page, the App Menu page or to the previous page you wanted. I guess that could be under the headline of learning curve, but, why?
Why would anyone want to be faced with the App Menu for another choice of paid Full Version or the free Basic version again. From any page in the app. Once again, why?
It would be a great update to add either animations, imbedded videos (full scenarios in the sim and or teaching moments) or at least sounds. Be it a voice over like an instructor or system sounds: Triple Click, Whoop Whoop Pull Up, Brake Max Braking....etc.
A nice one stop shop for revision!
Overall the author Jamie Bonet Serra has done a lot of work and made a solid first attempt. It’s full of correct and up to date information which is great. Please accept this review as a positive and any criticism being constructive in nature for future improvements.
