It enables a diverse network of thinkers to co-create policy recipes for pressing global policy challenges, such as biodiversity loss, artificial intelligence, migration or growing inequalities. The method is built on a crowd innovation platform, workshops, and a support process to bring the best recipes to impact. The potential of collective intelligence is used to develop constructive and creative solutions beyond the established policy making mechanism: Policy Kitchen connects citizens, experts and organizations in a participatory policy making process. The resulting policy recommendations are discussed with decision makers and other stakeholders to generate impact. This is an important step to strengthen democratic participation in international policy making.
