Just What I was Looking for!!!
I came across this app while looking for new Lock Screen widget apps. I was using a widget maker app to create a daily widget that shows the feast day. Now I don’t need to do that. Love that the reading are included as well.
One suggestion if I may. I think the circular widget is a creative use for telling what level feast day it is. Instead of having the date at the bottom, maybe substitute that for the liturgical color. It’s a little redundant since the date is visible above the time anyway. It would say “white” or “w”, “red” or “r”, etc. I know the lock screens don’t show colors but, in this case, I wish they did. This would be the absolutely best case for it! Great work and thanks!Show lessPlease add 1962 calendar
Great app but would be better if it also had the 1962 calendar for the Latin Mass so those who go to Latin Mass parishes can utilize this app as well.Developer Response
I am looking into supporting alternative calendars. It's definitely on my list of things to do. The challenge is finding a good api with the pre-V2 data! Looks like this is the most complete source: https://www.divinumofficium.comMakes Ordinary Phones Extraordinary!
This is a transformative app—especially the widget because it brings my mind up toward the celebration of the liturgy every day & year round even when looking at my phone!
My mom also got it, and she would benefit from the text enlarging for the readings. Her phone is set to have larger text, and the main calendar has slightly larger font, but the readings don’t enlarge at all based on her phone’s font setting. This will discourage her from using the app.
Overall, I am glad to have a quick reference for which feast day to celebrate today! Now I can easily reference feast days when I am praying the liturgy of the hours with the 4 volume book set when I want to celebrate a special holy day!Show lessDeveloper Response
July 2022 Update: I am now rolling out larger font for Mass Readings! I’ll look into the font size on the readings. I’m having to do some special formatting things to get all of the formatting from the missal. Italics, bold, etc… so it’s not as easy as flipping a switch like the celebrations page. Thanks for the positive review!New month Apple Watch
Whenever a new month begins, it doesn’t update on my Apple Watch.Developer Response
Hi there! I’m sorry about this and looking into the cause now. Do you know if this issue is on the watch face (on the complication) or in the app? Update 9/21: I think I’ve fixed this! If you find that it’s working better, please consider updating your review as a negative review like this demotes the app in Apple’s recommendation system.Simple and Sweet
This is just what I wanted and the price is just right. It shows the liturgical date (e.g., Ss. Paul Miki and Companions) as a widget on my phone. Perfect!Spanish
I can not get the app in Spanish ....no goodDeveloper Response
The app is now available in Spanish. If your device is set to Spanish, the data will load in Spanish.Love the app, but there could be improvements
I’ve been looking for an app like this for quite a while. I love it!
There are some suggestions that I have though:
* perhaps an option to integrate the events into a calendar. Apple calendar, Google calendar, etc.
* an option to expand each day to show a little bit more, such as a few different saint’s feast days, etc.
* a bit more info on each day and what it means to the faithful in a “description” section.
These are just suggestions for expansions of the app, but yeah. Still love it the way it is now :)Show lessMust-have for Catholics

Am I the only one that forgets which will of ordinary time we’re in, much less just the day of the week? Not anymore! This widget is super helpful!Daily Companion
