Insightful questions— best guided journal
The app provides a series of insightful questions for any occasion, for example at the end of the day or when feeling lonely.
It’s perfect for guided journaling. I was looking for a guided journal app but most of them have vague questions, but this app has actionable and concise reflections. The creator is also cool enough to respond to WhatsApp messages from the app.

DoEntry APP IS AMAZING
This is the best calendar, habit, journaling, memory keeping, and anything else you could possibly desire/ imagine out of your everyday app!!! I use it EVERYDAY & couldn’t ask for more…This is coming from someone who has used probably every app that you can think of or find on the App Store. I tried every calendar app I tried every reminder app I’ve tried every habit tracking app and also every journaling app and none of them top this one the app “Brite” is a very close second but I’m gonna say that it’s number two and this one is number one definitely!

This is an app to watch. I LOVE it.
I bullet journal, because I love pen-paper. But I can’t have my Bujo with me everywhere. Enter DoEntry. I can quickly type any thoughts or feelings down that I need or want to remember, and write them in my Bujo when I have a minute later. But this app is so much more than just a companion to my physical journal.
I like also reflecting on different parts of my day. Like, reflecting on my shift at work. There is a daily work reflection, but I edited it to suit my specific job which is not an office job. Or, the wind down reflection before bed. It helps to unload anything that my mind would keep whirring about. I also like that there’s also guided breathing right on the entry screen!
I tried notion. WAY TOO CONFUSING- and also I didnt like their security measures or that you had to be connected to the internet to use it. I also also tried various other self help/note taking/habit apps. If you journal, track things, want to reflect on yourself or your life and see improvement, this is the app for you!
Some things I would like to note- and I’m not taking on stars for this because I know these are minor things!
1. I think there’s a bug or an error when editing templates. Not sure, I’m no app developer. But when I go to edit my templates, and if I delete a question (or archive), it will not let me delete any other template questions unless I save my changes, back out of the template, and then tap it as if I were going to use it, and then back out of it again. I know that sounds confusing but I could elaborate more in an email if the developer wants.
2. The times are all in military time. Luckily, I play Japanese games and at my job all of our clocks are military time, so I can read it. But most Americans cannot, so maybe add an option for the normal US clock?
3. I would like to see more cloud storage options.
4. Maybe add a more specific guide on how to set goals. The template system is tricky to wrap your head around at first, and I didn’t understand that if I wanted to set a daily goal to study for 1 hour, I had to start a template for it.
Hope to see more features and updates with this app, and hope that it gets more foot traffic!!!

Close to buying full version!
I love this apps visualisation of the data you enter it, but I have some questions:
1. What is the utility of exporting your entries as JSON/KLM?
2. Is it possible to generate PDF documents from entries & data?
3. Does purchasing DoEntry Pro on iPad unlock DoEntry Pro for iPhone & Apple Watch?
Basically, I really love the app, but what’s holding me back from purchasing the Pro version is a lack of exporting options.
If I knew that I could export my text entries and the visual data representations into documents which I could access/view from any device, I would purchase this app without hesitation.
✌️🙂

Response from developer
Hi there, 1. JSON and KML are a machine readable format, so if you wanted to do some advance visulatization you could use this, also if you decide to move away from DoEntry this includes all your entries, tags, answers, weather, and location. 2. We are adding PDF export in the near future, so keep tuned 3. Yes, if you purchase pro and enable sync you can use it with unlimited devices on Android, iOS, and Web. Although we don't have plans to release an Apple Watch version as of yet.
I haven’t fully explored it yet
This app is quite detailed and I haven’t fully explored everything it has to offer. What I have explored, I really like.
There does seem to be one issue though: when checking out different “cards” I often cancel then without completing it. The entry doesn’t show up in the timeline—as expected, since I never completed the card. But, the unanswered questions still show up in the grid view, and there doesn’t seem to be any way of editing or deleting them.

Absolutely amazing. Highly recommend
I have been looking for an app like this for a very long time. There’s many apps out there but this one is different, I don’t normally give reviews but when an app is actually useful I will. I’m a student and honestly I can say this has helped me so much.
Pros: All the functions on the app are practical actually very useful. I can log my food for the day, can track my workouts, can track my mood as well and keep it as a diary which has seriously helped me with my mental health it’s been a life saver during the lockdown. Seriously I can’t sum up the pros.
Cons: There aren't any major con so far, maybe include some widgets or a Siri shortcut
