  • Kiwi support

Still waiting on the developers reply to my previous review inquiring about Kiwi 3 Bluetooth support. The release notes from 3 years ago state that this app added support for Bluetooth LE OBD readers. Kiwi uses BLE 4.1 which IS supported by other major OBD apps for iOS. Why exclude support for this app developer?

  • NOT working with OBDLink MX+???

NOT working with OBDLink MX+??? Wanted to purchase as I have a 2019 Subaru Outback and like to get CVT temps. I guess we’ll never know.

Complete failure on Developers part as request for OBDLink MX+ support was requested on a review from TWO YEARS AGO!!!
  • Needs Kiwi 3 support

Why does this not support Kiwi 3 for iOS?

Kiwi 3 is Bluetooth 4.1 LE
  • CVT transmission temp

The only app I have found that does my CVT transmission temperature. Subaru Outback 2023 Would be nice to be able to customise the gauges. Do that and its 5 stars. With maximums red warnings etc. But even the unpaid is very useful for me. Well done.

If you had purchased the full version whatever price it had in the past, it should still work well with no need to subscribe again - if you experience any problem with the product already purchased please contact by e-mail

  • Nice job

Finally an app for both iOS and Android! Works decently well on an old android but can’t connect to my OBD2 reader on iOS that uses Bluetooth 3. I’ve been trying to diagnose a TPMS error and you give tire pressure. It looks like they are pretty close but I’m wondering 1. what equation do you use to convert to PSI/kPa? 2. Any chance to get more information from TPMS besides tire pressure?

    Developer Response

The TPMS unit doesn't actually offer anything catching besides the measured pressure, probably, only the learning status (like change detected), but to remind these sensors are not precise. The Bluetooth 3.0 is supported in the MFi/Accessory mode only on iOS (by any app, not only this one).
  • Works well to read Crosstrek CVT temperature

This is so far the only app in IOS can read Subaru Crosstrek CVT temperature, recommended
  • Great app, great interface

Excellent app that does exactly what it describes. It is the only app out of many I have tried that displays my automatic transmission temperatures on my MY09 Subaru Forester.

I would really like to see the option to rename the labels on the gauges. For example, my car does not have a CVT, so I would like the option to rename that gauge to something else such as ATF (auto trans fluid). If this small feature could be implemented that would be awesome.

  • This app is saving my Subey from abuse

Huge thanks to the developers for making this app. I have seen that transmission oil light too many times. When I finally found this app and could read the specific readouts of the car I was able to diagnose overheating on my CVT.

Luckily a 3rd party OBD sensor from ENGIE is compatible with this app. Making use of older Bluetooth protocols. Huge kudos!!

    Feature request:
Better logging of data so that I can more adequately track trips and climbs. Elevation is an important variable. Roll and Pitch of the vehicle too. I know those are not part of the the ECU however useful to understand the car.

Thanks again you are saving my CVTF/ATF from over abuse !
