  • Improving

The latest version of the app fixed a lot of the known bugs. We’ve used the app with the MK2 live twice live without issues and it has been fine during rehearsals. Using an iPad rather than a phone is ideal.
  • Speakers great, app steadily improving

Bought a PRX One a couple months after they were introduced. Great sound and feature set but was completely let down by a very finicky / flaky control app. It’s taken a while but the JBL team has been fairly responsive on social media to the frustration and critiques, and has pushed several releases that have slowly improved the situation. Still not 100% on the Bluetooth connection when the phone sleeps or you flip to another app, but it’s drastically improved the overall usability. Keep up the good work, looking forward to further features and improvements to come.

  • JBL PRX1 owner

I love the app it was great to start with and has massively improved on the last update and I know that they are continuously working with ideas from users to improve even more😎 🎩off to Brandon and team!
  • The app keeps getting better!

Love the MK2 series, but initially the app was horrible, as many, including I, have posted here. But with each update, everything is getting resolved and new features are being added. I once again have faith in JBL. Many Thank to all involved! A LONG time JBL user!
  • This app is an unexpected add-on bonus to a fantastic speaker

I am using the app with a PRX908 PA speaker. The speaker sounds great out of the box, but the app lets me do a little extra tweaking to darken up the highs

I had one startup glitch, but JBL Pro tech support was extremely responsive and we had the problem resolved in a few minutes. (It turned out to be user error.)

I don’t understand the negative reviews, because I found the app very easy to figure out and use. Common sense would say that if it was being used in a full blown PA system, a mixing console would be needed rather than a DSP over a bluetooth connection. But for a solo act, this app and speaker combination is an ideal solution.

(The negative reviews leave me wondering if they came from JBL competitors.)

  • App Always has and Still Needs Work

It is a nightmare to update firmware on speakers using this app. I was updating both of my new speakers, but only one updated properly. Had to call customer support to have them show me how to reset the speaker to factory default so app would recognize speaker again. Then you have to go through extra steps of forgetting device once updated. Just weird! Once fixed, was able to run them both from app, but the sound is choppy even when only standing 3 feet away from them. There is no way I can use this app to run sound for my band or when I DJ weddings. I guess I will just have to keep using a separate mixing board. Thanks for nothing JBL.

  • Pretty good

App works pretty well but when I load a snapshot master volume always goes back to -100 db instead of where it was when I saved it e.g. -5 db. Maybe I am doing something wrong but I’ve tried everything I can think of! That’s only reason didn’t get 5*!!
  • Latest version works great!

Really appreciate the tap buttons to control the volume! 👏
  • You broke it! Now please fix it!

Everything was working fine using this app with my Eon Pro MkIIs until the last upgrade. Now, it takes at least 8-10 seconds for the app to find the speaker again, even after being attached. If the display closes for any reason, whether you go to another app or the display time closes it, when you go back to the app, it takes 8-10 seconds to be usable…EVERY TIME. The only way to “solve” this is to set your display to never turn off, and never change to another app. Essentially killing your battery and forcing you to use an additional tablet or phone for other duties. Sad piece of tech from a GREAT company. Don’t you have beta testers?

  • Worst interface ever for best system

This could be the worst app I’ve ever seen as far as controlling such a good piece of hardware. No metering, controls that are impossible to accurately set, lag updates between app and hardware mean I basically now use an external mixer and use the onboard mixer as a stereo in. So much potential, but this is dreadful.
