Fun but misleading
It’s fun and a good way to kill time but it was nothing like the ad that I saw and was wanting to play and also why is it that you merge two ice mage’s and get the green one? You’d think it would be like the next ice mage level or something but nope here’s a new one sometimes I don’t merge at all just because I don’t want a different type lol

So many Problems
There is absolutely no rhyme or reason to this games PVP! The opponent seems to always generate more cards and upgrades their cards quicker than yours, No matter what cards your opponent has. It is not balanced at all. You play the same board over and over again. Developers could at least fix the PVP so its not so blatantly obvious that it cheats you! Just Saying! I have been playing now for several months and in most cases i am doing 5 million damage more than my opponent. In one instance i did 30 million more damage and i lost. I took a screen shot because i was flabbergasted that it happened. There are several cards that need to be nerfed. Treant is one of them! I know this will fall on deaf ears because the game developers do not care about the game. I just played another game today and the game is so unbalanced to where i was out damaging the player and was right before the boss comes out and he was allowing the mobs to go almost to the gate and my mobs were 1/4 around to the gate and it gave the player 2.4 million boss and it gave me 5.6 million boss when i was clearly out damaging the player . Then flipped my board cards and left me with no damaging cards. Then i lost! Why Can’t you do something about the GLARING problems with your game? No Plans on Fixing your greedy Money Grab anytime soon? No Answers from Staff ever, just the cookie cutter response! Pathetic!

Taking us all for a ride
Another update, another failure. Now you are taking us all for a ride. Now we need countless magic orbs to upgrade our legendary units but fewer opportunities to acquire them. To upgrade a level 8 legendary card to level 9, we now need 3 orbs - before the update, none were required. To upgrade a level 14 legendary card to level 15, with this update we need 5 legendary units. Before the update we needed more so we tried to acquire them in the lab of experiments. Now they are redundant. What do I do with my extras now? What a waste of time and effort and experimental coins. You are taking us for a ride. Also before the update we could use bells or magic dust to acquire an orb, now we can’t. Again before the update we could acquire an orb in the lab of experiments, now we can’t. Where are the crystals this season? They have all disappeared. Usually we could acquire them as we progress. Now they are nowhere except the shop. You should compensate us for your lack of transparency and annoying the majority of players by consistently tampering and changing the rules. I feel I have wasted a couple of seasons. I should have saved all my experimental coins and crystals instead of spending them. I have no clue what you’ll do next update. I won’t hold my breath that it will be anything good. No consideration at all to your players. Shame on you.

Due to the return of the Magic Lab, the ratio of required cards and Orbs has been revised towards increasing the share of Orbs and decreasing the number of Legendary cards! The best game
Rush Royale is such an awesome game, there are no ads unless you willingly choose to watch and earn rewards! Battles take a short period of time so it’s easy to play on the go, graphics are amazing and very well designed
Absolute legends
I had lost about 3-4 years of progress in a blink of an eye with no way of getting back! That was until the support team did a mighty

Developers Don’t Listen
After playing this game religiously for 2 years and putting a lot of time, energy and money into this game I can safely say this game is on the decline. It was in such a good state with developers listening to the community and the wants and needs.
Sadly the developers create update after update making it more complex and putting pay walls up and don’t change anything. The developers continue to gaslight the player base and say they will change and to be patient but then create more updates make it harder and harder. When the community speaks out on social media they are banned and their comments deleted. Sadly I can no longer recommend this game and I am sad to be leave such a review as I spoke so highly of the game prior.
Developers if you read this and I hope you do… you are killing the community and we plead you to change your ways and go back to making it about the players and not about $$$.

Downwards spiral
Been an active player since 2022, really love the game, makes it more heartbreaking to see the recent updates make it more unplayable/only accessible if u spend a ridiculous amount of money.
The new orb system is trash, as well as taking away the number of legendary cards u can win per season, getting rid of book of secrets, only being able to get the glutton chests if you pay.
I used to regularly get the season pass as it was more fun and a way to support the devs, however, given the recent updates and the devs response to criticism from the rush Royale community (ignoring if not blocking players who voice their concerns) I will no longer be purchasing the season pass or any other packs requiring money both in support of the completely f2p players getting screwed over the most and in the hopes the devs can listen and make improvements so we can ALL go back to enjoying the game no matter how much money u have.

Latest update
The developers have managed to change this game from a 5 star game to a 1 star game in one update. If you are a F2P then please do not invest any time into this game. It starts well but as soon as you have been playing for a small amount of time you are going to want to build your deck around legendary units. The developers have completely revamped the levelling system so that it is now impossible to level legendary units pass a certain level without spending money. Before it was a slow process if you were F2P but it was at least achievable. This revamp is the second revamp the developers have made to the levelling process in a very short period of time. I have spoken to many other players who had started saving up their items in the previous update, investing a lot of time before this change came into effect which has basically rendered their efforts pointless. The phrase money grabbing springs to mind. I would happily update this review if more changes are made to the process but not before then. I repeat, if you do not want to sink hundreds of pounds into this game please do not bother to download it as you will hit the ceiling very quickly.

Game sucks with new update
Used to love this game. But with every update, the price goes up. Not fun anymore. Too hard to get legendary cards and upgrade them. Good game if you have tons of money to spend…
