Hey everyone! It’s been a while. I had a pretty fun summer, but I’ve also been working on these updates that I’m excited to finally share: - NEW: GroceryTime is optimized and fully ready for the latest iOS. Don't worry, iOS 14 is still supported and will continue to work great for you! - NEW: Cooking instructions for recipes! If a recipe you are importing contains cooking instructions, the app will now display them. No more going back to the recipe website when it's time to cook! - NEW: The app will now suggest that you mark your trip as complete once you're done shopping for items, reminding you to stay organized - NEW: Account management has been improved in Settings, including a way to close your account if you have decided to stop using GroceryTime - IMPROVED: Too many performance improvements and behind-the-scenes tweaks to count. Stay tuned for some new features soon that are built off the groundwork done in this release! Looking for more updates about GroceryTime? Follow @ItsGroceryTime on Twitter! Hello world! Back at you with an update including an awesome new feature thanks to your great feedback: - NEW: Recipe sharing! Want to share an incredible recipe with someone? It’s now possible to share recipes with anyone from the menu in the top right corner when viewing a recipe, or by long-pressing on a recipe in your Meals tab and choosing the “Share” option. The recipient will recieve a link to view the recipe online, and from there they can choose to open it in GroceryTime and quickly add it to their recipes list in the app. Looking for more frequent updates about GroceryTime? Back at you again with another great update, this time focusing on big improvements to sharing and lists! - NEW: You can now change an item’s category using the "Change Category" option in the item menu (long press an item to access). There's also an option for it to remember the new category any time you add that item to the same list in the future. - NEW: You can now mark any item as a “staple item” from the item menu. Staple items will automatically appear in any new trip within the same list. It's great for items you know you'll need every time you go to the store; for example, I know I will need need milk and eggs every week, so I've set those items as staple items and they automatically appear in each trip. - IMPROVED: List sharing has been overhauled. Now, instead of entering an email address and sending an email invite to the person(s) you want to invite, each list now has a sharing code. Simply tap the sharing code in your list sharing settings to bring up the iOS share sheet (or long press to copy), and share wherever you'd like. When someone downloads the app and signs up, they now have the option to create their first list OR join a list by entering an invite code. Simple as that. - IMPROVED: The list view has been given a small design refresh so that the trip details at the top are a little easier to understand. Your feedback is welcome! - MISC: Stores are now referred to as Lists. I've heard from some users who find this a bit confusing, and they're right. These are grocery shopping lists (that may or may not be associated with specific stores you shop at), which are organized into trips which have items in them. It should be a lot clearer now, especially to newcomers to the app! Looking for more frequent updates about GroceryTime? Follow @ItsGroceryTime on Twitter! A wild update appears! It’s been a while, but that's because I’ve been hard at work on some massive updates to the meal planning feature. I’m excited about this one! - NEW: Your Meals tab now shows you a beautiful new dashboard which gives you an overview of your meals for the week and your most recently added recipes - NEW: Totally overhauled “Your Recipes” screen with the ability to filter by meal type - NEW: Recipe screen with details about a recipe including the ingredients, so you can pull up the recipe and start cooking directly from the app! - NEW: Images and descriptions are now supported for Recipes. When importing a recipe from a link or from Safari using the “Add Recipe to GroceryTime” option in the share sheet. - NEW: When importing a recipe it will now determine the meal type (i.e. breakfast, lunch, dinner) automatically. - NEW: You can now delete recipes, for those times when you know you won't be trying *that* again - IMPROVED: Made some of the UI more consistent across the app so it feels a bit more fresh and appealing to the eye - MISC: You can now rate and review the app from the Settings tab. I’d really appreciate a review/rating if you get a chance! Looking for more frequent updates about GroceryTime? Follow @ItsGroceryTime on Twitter! This update introduces "Sign in with Apple" as a way to sign in or create an account, and more. Enjoy! - NEW: Sign in with Apple. Sign in or create your GroceryTime account using your Apple ID. It's the fastest and most secure way to access your GroceryTime account! - FIXED: The "Forgot Password?" screen would sometimes flicker when you tapped into it. If you know, you know. No more! - Lots of work was done behind the scenes to make things even faster and more performant for you, and some groundwork was laid for some fun and exciting things coming in an upcoming release.

- NEW: Import Recipes from Safari: When browsing a recipe website, you can now tap the share icon and quickly import the recipe into GroceryTime. The feature will automatically find the name, ingredients and more on the webpage, so it's super quick and easy to use! It's my new favourite way to add recipes to GroceryTime. - NEW: Items that were added to your grocery list from your meal plan will now show which meal they're associated with. - IMPROVED: The "Provide Feedback" button in settings now supports your default email client, so now you should be much more comfortable sending in your feedback and bug reports. - FIXED: Those using GroceryTime on an iPad couldn't see the beautiful alternate icons on the "App Icons" settings screen.
