This update is full of shot-base play improvements as we draw closer to providing you with Strokes Gained statistics in an upcoming update. Read about all of the changes in this new app version below. New features: - Shot-based play mode: Putt distances can now be recorded with each of your putts. - New in your profile: You can define a custom walking step length that will be used for calculating approximate putt distances quickly by counting how many steps are between your ball and the hole. Or you may allow the app to read Walking Step Length from the Health App which allows the app to always use the most accurate length. Or you may let the app read your height and gender and calculate a walking step length for you. - New play performance charts: various “proximity to the hole” distance bands, including out of the sand and first putt distances. - New play performance charts: hole gross averages for each par value (pars 3, 4 and 5). If you want to retroactively generate values from previous rounds, go into the Support > Diagnostics view and run "Play Performance". - Individual practice insights charts can now be pinned to the Practice tab. - Individual play performance charts can now be pinned to the Play tab. Notable improvements and fixes: - iPhone: Equipment has been promoted to a dedicated tab and is no longer located in the membership menu. - Shot-based play mode: Shots can be indicated as being “partial swings” so that they are not considered for realized distance analysis for that shot using that club. Use this for chips, punch cuts, or whatever kind of shot that you know won’t be the full yardage of the club. This setting will not prohibit the shot from categorizing “proximity to the hole” statistics. - Shot-based play mode: Shots can be indicated as being a "recovery shot". This is a requirement for supporting Strokes Gained statistics in an upcoming version. - Shot-based play mode: The second shot on par 3s and 4s is where you now specify if the fairway was hit or not in shot-based modes. - Shot-based play mode: Whether you hit in the fairway, sand or rough is automatically detected now. If not in the fairway, the direction miss is also automatically detected. - Shot-based play mode: Automatically detected shot characteristics are colored in orange to bring them to your attention to help you visually confirm their accuracy. - Shot-based play mode: When selecting "Next Shot" or "Finish Hole", additional options are presented just in case you forgot to input putt distance, know that the next shot will be a putt (which automatically selects your putter on the next shot), and other helpful choices. - Clubs have been given their own unique color (starting in version 3.16) but you can now specify your own custom color for them. This color is used in charts throughout the app. - Fixed an issue that prevented current grip wear to initially show on the clubs within your bags. - In all play modes (including Golf Cart mode), you can now quickly access your bag’s yardage card and wedge matrix. We have also performed minor usability improvements, general maintenance and various bug fixes.

New features: - Elevation differences to the green are now available for your rounds. Use this information to help you decide how much to club up or club down for your shots. (Free for all golfers through 2024.) - A new distance radar that originates from the green has been added to the maps, making it much easier and faster to decide where you want to place your shots for your approach into the green. - The appearance of the map during play has been recolored. And now there are actual trees! - The next 5-hour weather forecast is given to you after selecting a course in golf cart mode. Some important improvements and notable bug fixes: - Enhanced the play/rounds filter so that you can view a list of rounds played for only a specific installed course. - Custom rendered course thumbnails. - During play, the green distance radar and elevation markers can be toggled on and off as needed. - Launch golf cart mode a little quicker by using the CART button on the “Play a Round” card on the play tab. - Fix: The bag shown on a completed round was showing too much of the current state of the bag and not the state at the time of the round. - Fix: The bag and clubs presented on a completed round are no longer editable directly. - Fix: Retired clubs can no longer be edited. We have also performed minor usability improvements, general maintenance and various bug fixes.

Description of My Golf

Elevate your golf to the next level and beyond with My Golf: Practice, Play & Plan. It is all too common to spend time on the driving range hitting ball after ball but never consistently seeing positive results out on the golf course. My Golf can assist in eliminating this gap by helping you create and execute managed practice sessions that are truly meaningful to your abilities, historical play results, and personal goals. * Take control of your practice time With the included and expanding library of practice activities, challenges, games, skill assessments and treatments, you will always be able to find meaningful and relevant practice to do on the range and the chipping/putting green – and even at home or the office. My Golf can even evaluate your previous practices and games and give you recommendations on what to practice to improve. * Learn from your play one shot at a time It is well known that the best scores are derived from players who never focus on the score – they focus on the only thing that matters: the current shot that lies before you. When you track your games with My Golf, you are encouraged to focus only on the current shot and can provide as much or as little data to the app about the conditions and results of that shot. My Golf can then use that information to help you figure out what activities would make the most of your practice time. * Focus your path to improvement by defining your goals Creating goals for your yourself helps you bind to your path to improvement at a very personal level. In My Golf, you can record these goals and set deadlines for yourself. Use your goals to help you focus on creating relevant practices and obtain better scores in your games. Notes: My Golf is a free-to-use app. However, various features are only available if you have a Premium auto-recurring subscription. Up to a 1-month free trial is available to new subscribers to give you time to try out the features that are of most interest to you. Details about what features are available as a subscriber are within the app. My Golf uses HealthKit to export your practice and play activities into the Health app; the information is only used for health and fitness purposes and can only be used by you. My Golf only writes this data into the Health app and neither reads or processes any of this data. My Golf makes use of the Location permission so that the app can record GPS coordinates for individual golf shots to display on a map, to perform game performance calculations, and to provide yardages on the golf course. Your GPS data may be saved off-device to your private iCloud database. All game performance calculations that use locations are performed on-device. Come join us on our social media channels!
