  • Really inconvenient

    So you’re telling me, if my phone turns off, I have no data, or I don’t have my phone I can’t enter a gym I’m paying £15 a month for? Surely there’s a better solution. Maybe personal codes that you can only use once per day? That would be a much better solution.
  • Love the gym and staff but the app is so bad

    I can’t even sign in, I am putting in the correct email address, although, it’s saying my password is wrong. I request an email to change my password, it says follow the link but the link isn’t highlighted and when I type it in it’s not valid. Extremely frustrating
  • Useless

    Used the app with no issues for months tried using it today and it has logged me out, when trying to log back in says username/password incorrect used the change password and changed can log in through the website but app still showing incorrect username/password. What is the point in the app if it doesn’t let you log in total waste of time!!!

  • Absolutely useless app

    Old app was much better than this useless one, can you bring back the old one where we can track our activity and progress, spend some money on the app at least
  • Shocking.

    Before today I hadn't used the gym or app since covid-19 appeared and can say I am honestly shocked at how poor things have become! Had no idea the gym had been bought over, no idea the app had changed and no idea how poor things had become. The new “app” shows what little interest there now is in the members and their fitness goals.

    The old app was FAR superior.

  • App does not work.

    Have had a new iPhone 12 Pro. I have downloaded the app and I simply cannot open it. I went to the gym ans the receptionist looked and also could not open it, so, it takes a while each time for me to get in.
    Not complaining about the gym as it’s a great gym ans the staff are good, just complaining about the app. Please help.

  • What on earth is this latest update?

    Dunno what planet your so called ‘app’ experts are on, today we receive the latest ‘update’ to ‘ tidy up some bugs and improving performance’.

    WHAT?????

    Absolute no difference has been made with this ‘update’

    Since you lot took over X4L you’re no more than a shambles!

    You told one of your members in Bristol that class bookings via the app are not needed DESPITE him informing you the opposite!!

    ARROGANCE !!!!!

    WHY do we not have the CLUB HUB?
    WHY was it removed?
    Surprisingly for you lot, the CLUB HUB WAS / IS a MASSIVE big deal for members (do you remember them)?
    It allows us to not only communicate but also to pass ideas /suggestions AND to say THANK YOU to Club management and MORE importantly to the PT’s / Instructors who have and still are doing a FABULOUS job in keeping us fit and well during these truly awful times we are living in.

    I assume you pay for ‘experts’ to set up your app??

    You’re getting ripped off!!

    Get your act together then maybe we, the members ( who keep you in employment) may then be able to use the app as it was in a previous life..

    Listen to your members!!!!

  • JD Gyms do not care.

    Used to be a great gym under Xercise4Less but since JD Gyms have taken over. There is just no interest in individual members.

    They remove all your performance and achievements data since you have been a member, in which the data belongs to the MEMBER, not VirtuaGyms.

    Does JD Gyms know what data protection is? Probably not.

    You’re no longer able to have “friends” on the app or socially interact with gym members. It’s like social distancing but on an app.

    As for maintenance of your gyms (former Xercise4Less) equipment is falling apart and not sufficient sanitiser is provided. Wipes containers constantly empty.

    Incidentally, why did you purchase Xercise4Less? To ruin it and slowly dissolve it into non existence?

  • Awful, no use whatsoever!

    Not told about the old app being removed, like others just found one day I couldn’t access it. Downloaded the new app, no classes, no hub board to talk to others who use my branch and to top it off you can’t use it yet to access the gym which is the main reason to have the app. Can’t give it 0 stars so it will have to be 1 star. Though currently this reflects the gym company as a whole right now.

    Wasn’t told about the new app a friend told me,I was automatically logged out my old app I can’t find anywhere on new app or even through the gym page how to renew my membership it now comes up with credits ,what ever that means
    New app doesn’t allow you to see timetables or even communicate with people because you can’t post anything
