No actual free version

Wanna leave a review mostly for the developer or owner of this app but if anybody finds this useful, that’s great too. Looked on App Store for a Pomodoro app to move out of a we’d app when using my phone/watch and this was the first one happened upon an App Store. As soon as opening it I was hit with like 6 different screens I had to get past only to find that it does not look like it allows you to do pretty much anything on the free version and you will never catch me buying an app blindly without using it. I’m not about to try a seven day free trial and forget about it because I’m using this is for ADHD and staying on task so the likely of me remembering to cancel a free trial are low. Moving on to the next app in the “market” and deleting this one.

If there is a way to use the free I suggest making this much more user friendly to not have a bunch of screens to click through and then a random list of things that are behind paywalls. Make it more more obvious ( keep it simple silly).

Stopwatch and Web version

I would really love to see a stopwatch option and a web version so I can use the app on my laptop.
Otherwise I really love this app! Thank you

Great app

Would be nice to add an audio que or something more noticeable when a timer is done, some sound control for the white noise would be good too.
Instead of when a break is up or when a study cycle is done the message says “good job” or “keep going” it could instead say “break over “( or something similar) then follow with a quick fun fact about the effectiveness of studying or using the pomodoro technique. Something to help motivate the desire to continue studying.
An example would be like “ Sleep deprivation can reduce memory retention by x%” or “ a proper study environment can significantly increase learning capability”

Nice and Simple design🤍

+ Nice design it’s very calm and simple to use, so you can focus on actual plans without wasting time. + Shows a clear visualisation of how much I have focused using ‘tomatoes?’, so it motivates you to keep going. + Creative design with tomatoes of different sizes to differentiate small and large focuses. + Also the tomatoes moving with the movement of device makes interaction with
Wishlist🤞🏽:
1)Option to see the tomatoes change colour according to the Tag type.
2)Please add option to delete error tomatoes/focus.
3)small button for break directly from start page

Request

Would love the ability to turn off breaks popping up as an option. I usually use the stop watch method so I take my breaks after a long focus session and don’t need a timer for it. Would love to skip the break screen all together! Thanks ☺️

Love it! (Suggestion)

Pomodoro has always been an affective way for my productivity issues surrounding ADHD. This app makes focus time fun and rewarding! Seeing the tomato’s add up, the option to block distractions from outside apps, it’s great! Even the fun way the tomatoes move on the apps screen.

Suggestion. I know a tomato is red but, I wish my tomato’s were color coded to the type of focus I earned them for. My school work focus color is red and my cleaning/chores focus is purple, it would give a sense of how my time was split and give a visual on how many focus sessions I spent on each type of focused activity.

Amazing

Provides all the features needed and gives perfect insight on how many hours you have dedicated to each different task but would love it if MacBook compatibility was added too :)

Response from developer

Thank you for the great feedback! We're glad to hear that FocusPomo provides the insights you need. We’re currently focusing on adding Mac compatibility, particularly with a status bar feature. Could you share more about what other Mac-specific features you’d like to see? This will help us design it to better suit your needs. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Useless calendar

There is no way to pre-schedule timers. There is no way to select from a populated list of timers and use one. The Calendar function thus is completely useless. Why have a Calendar at all, if you can’t select the events on it and engage those timers?

Response from developer

Thank you for your suggestion! Currently, the Calendar view in FocusPomo is designed to display your past focus sessions, not to plan future sessions. However, we’re actively working on expanding Calendar functionality to include: Importing schedules from your system or third-party calendar, allowing you to compare your planned schedule with actual focus time. Scheduling future sessions, where you can start a focus timer directly from the Calendar when the scheduled time arrives. This is a more complex feature to build, as we want it to be both simple and effective. The first feature will be released soon, and we’re excited to keep improving!

Love it

The only app that helps me focus

Response from developer

hank you for your kind words! We're so glad FocusPomo is helping you focus. Feel free to share any suggestions—you’re always welcome!

I think I’m in love

Great app, clean interface, intuitive and usable. That alone is worth the price, but the best thing is the support: I requested a new feature here in a review and they implemented it in a matter of weeks! 💕🤯

I have a new feature request ☺️ would it be possible to display somewhere in the iOS app (not necessarily in the main timer screen) where in the cycle the app thinks I am? Sometimes I don’t complete a cycle and I get confused when the app suggests a long break at a later time. It would also be helpful to have a way to reset the cycle in cases like this 🙂 Thank you!

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your feedback and support! We’re thrilled to hear you’re enjoying the app and our responsiveness to feature requests. You’re absolutely right—the current cycle can be a bit unclear, so we’re working to make it more visible in the app or through widgets, and we’ll also add a reset option. For now, this feature is available on the Apple Watch. Thanks again for your suggestion!
