Good, but not great

On the plus side, it will help you study for the 608 exam. There are plenty of questions and most of them cover things that you will see on the exam. If you're cramming, the weekly and monthly subscriptions are reasonably priced. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, and overall the app has some nice features. Some of the other reviews say that pro access is cut off immediately. I did not see this with my weekly subscription.

However, of the 500 or so questions that I saw, there was something wrong with probably 10% of them. Some were worded poorly. Some had accepted answers that directly contradicted other questions. Some of the explanations were unclear, unhelpful (simply restating the answer), nonsensical ("...lowering the boiling point of water, causing it to freeze"), or out date (leak rates that changed five years ago).

Was it worth $3? Absolutely. Will you be frustrated at the questions? Probably.

Helps retain info faster!

As the title says. I used this while in school and it helped improve my prep by leaps and bounds. The test are shorter but it gradually introduces new questions and won’t allow you to pass a Step until you pass the entire test.

I have the free version but a little while back they would offer an explanation on wrong answers. You now have to pay for that feature.

Either way, totally worth it!

List of pro access

I paid for a week's subscription and canceled the auto-renewal but now I’m trying to use the app, and I no longer have pro access. What’s the point of being charged for something and not getting the feature paid for? I enjoy using the app but I feel like I'm being robbed for not getting what I paid for. I still have 4 days left before my subscription ends.

The best EPA 608 app!

I bought the esco training course to help with taking the EPA 608 exam and though it was great and all but still felt like I needed a lot more practice and man this app done exactly that! I can’t stress enough how awesome this app was for actually making everything connect in my head. At first the no pay option was nice but simply paying $3 I got the full access for a week and that was all I needed. I just passed my exam and if I can do it you definitely can too.

Truly a great app! Read through the manual once, went through all the questions for all sections here once (core twice), got my universal license on first shot!

EPA cert

Love the app. I don’t pay for the upgraded version but I like how when I’m taking the tests that it gives you the correct answer if I get it wrong and then comes back later on and asks the question again until I get it right. Great learning tool!

Good to study, I got my test in 48hrs

But I noticed on the free version as previous review mention “ there are many questions that are outdated and reflect information pre 2019. For example, the new leak rate percentages are 10%, 20%, and 30% for comfort cooling, commercial refrigeration, and IPR. 99.9% of the questions still reflect the old information.”

I hope developers update this since is a pay app and help others to study

Study guide

I wish this app had a study guide instead of just practice tests. I do like the fact that it gives you explanations after you get the answers correct.
