  • I love Ribblr!!!

I am not able to use the ribblr chat thing because I told a fake age that I was 11, and I wanted to get banned from that thang! It was not pleasant. Thank you, whoever banned me!😊☺️😃 Anyway, I love ribblr so much! It is the perfect place for all knitters and crocheters! The patterns are so cool, and the search feature is amazing!🤩 keep in mind that you can only download 5 patterns per day! Thanks for reading this!

  • Love the app but…

I didn't give 5 stars as it seems that we can upload our own personal patterns (that are not for sale or anything) so that I can follow the pattern easily without being a part of Ribblr gold… I was really excited to import some patterns I bought on PDF just for my own personal use but I cant do it without paying! So not only do I have to buy the pattern from somewhere else cause I can’t buy it on the app, but I also have to pay for Ribblr. I think the experience would be greatly improved if the people that aren’t looking to sell can use Ribblr to just store and follow patterns, almost like an archive! I don’t know if you need to pay to sell as well so maybe this doesn't make sense but it was a thought I had!

Thanks for sharing! You can get thousands of patterns for free on Ribblr and use our interactive pattern format for free, no trials or credit cards required. Ribblr+ paid membership help support the platform and it gives you added features like the ability to convert PDFs you bought elsewhere into ePatterns so you can enjoy the best experience for all your patterns. We hope this makes sense and feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
  • Love this app!

My go to place for patterns as there are so many types, styles and difficulties because it’s all different users submitting them. I also love the layout of the actual patterns when you’re making them (you can check off the rounds as you go, tap on stitches for an explanation on how to do them, the pattern maker can upload photos to specific rounds, etc). I would definitely recommend for any crocheter, huge pattern selection (free and paid) and all your patterns in one place! 5⭐️

  • Still Meh

Tried it again since the newest update and I still can’t use it. It’s just too overwhelming and filled with.. stuff. Search for a specific pattern and I get a bunch of other patterns, sales, other crap but not the pattern. Please let us delete items from our Library .. I have two patterns in mine, I’ll never make them but I can’t get rid of them?? I haven’t even used this app enough to know where they came from!

I really want to use this app more because I see so many great designers talking about it and using it for their patterns.. but it’s just very unfriendly to users. The search filters don’t work very well and it’s just very cluttered and overwhelming. I’m searching for a free pattern for a no sew turtle and it’s just impossible to actually find ANY. There’s too many other things coming up. Sorry but I’ll stick with Ravelry and Google for now.

Thanks for sharing and sorry for the frustration. We’ll be releasing new improvements in the next few weeks- we would love to get your updated review and input so we can continue to improve.
  • Please fix this

    |Edit: the archive button doesn’t work either. I try to tap the archive button and it only opens the pattern instead. No matter how accurately I tap on the icon it still happens| It’s a good app except for one thing which is really bothering me. No delete button in your library. It makes me mad that I have so many patterns I don’t want anymore but can’t get rid of them because there’s no delete button. I haven’t even used those patterns either so they are just sitting there taking up space. You were able to have a delete button for patterns us users make but you couldn’t make a delete button for people’s library’s? Make it make sense. Please fix this cause I’m tired of seeing those patterns taking up space in my library

Hi there! There is a button to archive patterns that does exactly that. This way you can still own them but arrange your library. If you need more help please reach out 😊

  • used to be so good

ribblr used to be my absolute go to for most patterns. i love the interactive patterns and there are a lot of great patten makers on here, but oh my god i cannot deal with how SLOW the app has gotten. i have good internet and it take upwards of 30-40 seconds to load anything, and don’t even get me started on how long it takes to load photos. i’ve waited upwards of 5 minutes before for it to load the payment screen to buy a pattern. ribblr is basically unusable for me on computer since you can’t just scroll through the pattern and have to load each section individually. and what is up with mandatory follows to get a pattern? this shouldn’t even be an option for pattern makers to have. if i like a persons patterns i will follow them anyway, but pattern makers can only have one pattern and i HAVE to follow them to get it? it wouldn’t be so bad but then i get no less than 10 notifications for each pattern that comes out for each person i have to follow to get a pattern. i don’t think i’ve ever seen an app get so bloated and awful to use so quickly. currently in the process of writing down the patterns that are ribblr exclusive (not to share) so i can actually use them.

Hi there! We aren’t aware of speed issues so can you please email us so we can locate your account and solve it for you? Regarding computer- that has changed several months ago so it is endless scrolling now 😌 As for following designers- thanks for sharing your input! That’s really helpful. Just to let you know this is up to designers to decide and often is linked to free patterns which we think is a fair thing to ask in return for something they’ve worked hard for. Regardless we appreciate your input and are awaiting your email to solve your speed issues- that’s definitely not right 😥 Support@ribblr.com
  • Great app! But…

This app is awesome and saves so much time when searching for patterns! The only thing is it runs a bit slow and limits the number of free patterns a day.
Otherwise, I love this app and I love the opportunity I get to share my own patterns with others!
I also love the idea of a giveaway, especially since I for one cannot buy many patterns, but look for all the free ones.
Like I said, great app! But there are some issues like pattern limits and slow running…

  • awesome app, would love to add a feature

i just found this app and i’ve been loving it so far! i think a really great addition would be having the ability to filter patterns by the color of yarn you have!! i also love that in the patterns, you have the ability to cross out the steps that you’ve already done so you don’t get lost! small detail but really helpful if youre working on a project while multitasking with something else (i crochet at work and have to put it down frequently lol)
