Hello! We apologize for your difficulties using “Random Play" on our APP. We created “Random Play” so that players who could not get 3 friends together could play immediately with others in the same situation. At the moment, the amount of traffic coming to the app sometimes means that there are not enough players for all random players to get into a game. Please try again in the future as our downloads are building everyday. We expect that later this year there will be enough traffic to have everyone playing whenever they want. You can still create your own game and invite from 3 to 12 friends at any time. If you have any ideas that could take the game to the next level, please share with us at support@thegameofthings.com. We appreciate your feedback and hope our game makes you laugh!

We are so sorry you are having difficulty inviting people to our APP. Here are the steps: 1. On the home screen choose the “CREATE” button instead of the “JOIN” button. 2. The next screen will ask you to choose a GAME MODE depending on whether you are in the same room or different locations. 3. Next you will choose which deck of topics you will use. 4. Next you will enter your name and choose an avatar. Once you have done that you will be presented with a game code that you will send to whomever you want to play with. You can send it by e-mail, text, phone call, social media or however you like to communicate with your group. All players will either download the APP to their mobile device or use their computer and go to www.playthings.io”. On the Home Screen they choose “JOIN” instead of “CREATE”. They will then be presented with a keypad where they can enter the code that you sent them. Hit the check mark and they are in the game. Once they enter their name and choose an avatar you will see them pop-up. You are now ready to have a good laugh. You won’t believe the THINGS... you’ll hear! I hope this helps with your inquiry.
