Description of AnyLog

With AnyLog, you can keep track of anything you like. You define the fields you want to record, and simply add data whenever you like. It's more simple than a spreadsheet, but more powerful than other tracking apps. It's designed for the times when you can't find something which lets you track exactly what you want. You can view a table of all your entries, as well as stats and charts. You can add equation fields to combine two fields together. AnyLog is a flexible logging app, so you can keep track of exactly what suits you.

  • This is a good app [updated]

This is a good app and I think it should be rated higher. Pros: Easy to use, good price, flexible, nice layout, good features overall Cons: 1-No time field (only has date) 2-No confirmation before deleting (makes it too easy to delete records) 3-Has bug (example: when showing records by day, it shows a 3/31 record with the 3/30 records, this 3/31 record does NOT show with the 3/31 records) 4-Not a biggie, but could use a few more color options With the above fixes, I would give this app 5 stars.

Update: Thanks for adding time option and export option. Also added prompt before delete and more options for selecting date range. All great additions. Fortunately no data loss when updating app. Unfortunately: 1-required fields no longer required and don't see any way to make required so it's too easy to accidentally leave needed fields blank, export only works for new tracker, still no way to export data from previous years. I actually wish I wouldn't have updated the app as I can see fields will now accidentally be left blank since no way to require a value. Please fix! Thank you. (And yes, after fix, if no other issues, would be 5 stars)

    Developer Response

Hi Mac100, thanks for you review. I’m glad you like the app! Thanks for highlighting those cons, and I’ll work on those for a future version! If you can reach out with any more info about the bug you saw to omar@appadel.com that would be helpful to track it down :) Update: Thanks for your update, Mac100! I had indeed removed the required field option during the rewrite, but I have added it back in now in version 2.1.2 - I hope that's useful! Exporting should be supported for old trackers and any date range - whatever date range you select is what will be exported. If this isn't working, please do feel free to reach out to omar@appadel.com and I can help look into this. Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback!
  • Great app. Don’t ever going subscription based!

Tally app was good but is now bad ever since greed made them move to a subscription based and cut premium features we already paid for. I returned to this app and it still works like a charm. You got 5 stars from me

    Developer Response

Thanks for your review, I'm glad you're enjoying the app! And if you have any feature requests or issues please feel free to get in touch! And rest assured, I'll never move to subscriptions :)
  • Cannot edit

It looks as though you should be able to edit. Yes I see the pencil and no it WILL NOT LET YOU EDIT. I can’t create a sharable report so this app is useless.

    Developer Response

You should be able to edit both an entry or a tracker after clicking the pencil. There are a couple things you can't change, like deleting the date row for example. Please feel free to reach out to support if you're facing any issues!
