Great new app for access to new and existing Sharepoint Lists for business users
This app is brand new (early 2021), so some may be disappointed that it doesn’t have all the features of similar apps, but it seems to be a great start.
Mobile access to not only view, but to add data to and change configuration of Sharepoint Lists, makes this app a long-awaited tool in the box for many of us.
— This is great for uses such as simple asset management and event planning.
— You can add photos to lists (multiple fields) and scan barcodes into any text field, both of which are difficult to do in a PC web browser (as well as is adding location information).
— Your data should be easily exportable (at least on the web) to a .csv file or to Excel Online. You can start recording data here and move it elsewhere later if you outgrow this tool.
Finally: This isn’t a relational database, folks - it’s a way to enter, search, and view data in a more structured way** than you might normally do so using text files or a shared (non-calculation) spreadsheet.
I haven’t tried this yet with the Lists app in MS Teams, but I would expect that to work (may depend on your company’s particular Teams settings).

Devs: Great job so far!
Users: please submit feedback in the app or on the web for suggestions and comments - modern MSFT appears to listen to end users much better than expected for a large company.

*(If you don’t have a business O365/M365 account, you’ll be better off using something else like AirTable or FileMaker Go for now - check back here in a year or two, though.)
** (If you have structured list-type data, it probably makes more sense to store it here than in a shared OneNote document, for example.)
No iPad layout
