Slow. Quits out when you move to another app.

Great idea in principle but doesn’t live up to the expectations at all. It’s so slow. Also I’ve noticed that when I start a transfer and then go and use safari or something (as its like watching paint dry) the app cancels the transfer…without any warning. I figured it would perhaps continue where I left off but it doesn’t. Really disappointing, especially given the high price for an iPad app.

Speeds up my workflow as a DIT

Can quickly offload Sound on set to my iPad to sync audio to dailies throughout the day. No longer have to pester Sound Dept by taking their cards away, can just offload in front of them. Verification gives me peace of mind that all files were transferred… iOS Files app is not reliable for this. Price feels steep considering I’m already paying for Offshoot on Mac.

Love this app

Well worth the price if you are moving files off media cards on iPad

To the developers, pretty please add some more of the organise options from the desktop version

In particular please the option to ignore folders.

I’d also love the ability to specify what types of files to copy and which not to copy 😊

Thanks again for this app, it’s excellent!

The perfect App for any filmmaker

This is the perfect app for any filmmaker or anyone who wants to make sure that your files are copied across without errors. It works so well on my iPad Pro (not M1) and will copy in the field my SD cards to two separate SD drives using a hub connected to the USB port. Then by using LumaFusion I can even view my Canon R6 rushes (directly from the drives) without any transcoding or preparation.
I highly recommend this to any filmmakers who are out filming who want to travel light but want to make sure they have back ups each day of their rushes.
