16.1 Crash Fixed
Thanks to all the hard working folks that debugged the 16.1 update crash on opening problem. That was fast, y’all are greatly appreciated!!
So far so good - a couple issues
So far the app is working well. It is useful for being able to create polygons of objects in canopy height models and satellite imagery.
Something that I think would make this app better to used would be to give the option of choosing where certain features are on the screen. For example, the green tick and Red Cross that are in the bottom right when drawing a polygon would be useful to have in the left hand corner so that when you are drawing a shape file with a stylus you can easily confirm the edit without having to cross under your other hand.

Awesome App
This app is absolutely excellent for data collection! The only recommendation I have is to add a compass feature to the navigation tool so it can point you to object you’re navigating to.

The long road out of beta is over!
I’ve been a huge fan of qfield both in iOS and android.
The functionality of qfield is quite nice, and the UI equally as good.
I’ve been using it in the beta for the past year and I’m so happy that I can actually recommend it to my open source clients!
