Works as advertised
Great free app, can control the cameras over WiFi.
Works as it should
Used on a TR530 across subnets, just as responsive as controlling through desktop AVer PTZ Management software or through web interface. Will update if issue’s controlling other TR530’s or AVer PTZ310’s.
Does not work
I gave it a try and added with and without ports. It doesn’t work
Doesn’t work
This app is garbage. It doesn’t work at all. The search wheel just keeps spinning. It’s not the camera or network because I have no problem connecting to it using the manufacturer’s app. Don’t waste your time on this app.
Unusable
This app won’t ever let me log onto my camera. I am using a separate app on an iPad that works well so I know it’s not the camera or the Wi-Fi
Connection issues
I put in the required fields and hit connect and it just spins. I can log onto the camera from a laptop connected via WiFi but when trying to use the app on my iPad Pro nothing happens. No error message just spin.
So far, unusable
Maybe this works on home networks but I can’t get it to work on my office network. I know the IP addresses of my cameras but it won’t let me manually enter them. When I do a “search” for cameras it finds none even though I’ve verified that my iPad and cameras are on the same VLAN/subnet. This often happens on corporate networks where the discovery protocol(s) may be blocked due to security concerns. Since auto discover doesn’t work and I can’t manually enter IP addresses, it’s useless to me at this point.
