We know that sometimes enrollment in the application can be complicated. From now on, those people with limitations who need it, will be able to ask their bank office to enable a simplified enrollment, which will make it easier for them to use this application. “Santander iD v4” has arrived! You won’t see major changes beyond some improvements on some screens (and some bugs fixed), but we’ve changed its interior quite a bit to make Santander iD become -soon- THE app to verify “that you are YOU” beyond the scope of the Santander entity where you are a customer (*). In future versions we will tell you more about that capability! (*) Remember that the app can only be used in Santander entities that have adopted the global identity platform.

To avoid confusion, we have filtered from the list of ‘active requests’ all those that are already expired. "Santander iD” is the new app that Santander Group offers globally to its customers to let them verify from their own mobile phone any ‘signature’ request, for any type of operations, that have been launched from any channel, at any Group subsidiary (as long as that subsidiary has adopted to manage the identity of its clients the global identity platform of Santander Group that includes this app). SIMPLE With the access information provided by your Santander subsidiary and your electronic email, you will be able to register easily in the app. Forget the old ‘SMS’, the old ‘personal coordinates cards’, the old ‘signature alphanumeric key’, the old ‘crypto-calculators’, etc. Now, with ‘Santander iD’, you will be managing different verification systems so you can confirm from your own mobile phone any operation launched at any channel and any entity. PERSONAL We care about your safety, and also your convenience. For that reason, we have deployed mechanisms to adjust in a flexible way the verification factor that we will request from you at the app, based on YOUR context and preferences, and also on the characteristics of the operation that you are going to approve. Besides this, we will also ‘bind’ your mobile phone to your identity uniquely, so we can be completely sure that no one can impersonate you from another phone. FAIR You know there are plenty of financial regulations in place, and sometimes they require us to apply different identity verification mechanisms to adhere to those norms. No worries, we will always try to make as much easier for you as we can that process. You will confirm your payments, your transfers or any other operation from your phone, in a secure and easy way -and abiding by the rules, of course!-. Furthermore, as we told you before, at Santander we care about your security so, if we detect something strange, you will still be able to confirm your operations, but… maybe we will ask you for ‘something more’ to be completely sure that you are not being impersonated. And all that is because you can verify with Santander iD that ‘you’ are really YOU. Santander iD is a product of PagoNxt, part of Santander Group.
