Better Stack is the all-in-one infrastructure monitoring platform for your incident management, uptime monitoring, and status pages.
INCIDENT ALERTS
Get incident alerts via your preferred channel: push notifications, SMS, phone calls, emails, Slack, or Teams messages. Acknowledge the incident with a single click on your phone to let the rest of the team know you’re taking care of it.
INCIDENT REPORTS
To make debugging easy, you get a screenshot with the error messages and a second-by-second timeline for every incident. Fixed the issue? Write a quick post-mortem to let your team know what went wrong and how you fixed it.
ON-CALL SCHEDULING
Configure your team’s on-call duty rotations directly in your favorite calendar app, like Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook. On-call colleague asleep? Wake up the entire team if you want, with smart incident escalations.
UPTIME MONITORING
Monitor uptime with fast HTTP(s) checks (up to every 30 seconds) from multiple regions and ping checks.
HEARTBEAT MONITORING
Use our heartbeat monitoring for your CRON scripts and background jobs, and never lose a database backup again!
STATUS PAGE
Not only will you be alerted that your site is down, but you’re able to notify your visitors about the status of your services as well. Create a branded public status page to build confidence in your brand and keep your visitors in-the-know. And the best part? You can configure everything in just 3 minutes!
RICH INTEGRATIONS
Integrate with over 100 apps and connect all of your infrastructure services. Sync with services like Heroku, Datadog, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus, Zendesk, and many more.
This app does not natively render your metric or status pages - it will direct you to the default browser for all of that.
That is totally acceptable as the web app is super nice.
The sole reason this app even exists is because Apple has thus far blocked web apps from sending push notifications.
This is changing in 2023, and as soon as native iOS push notifications are supported in the Better Uptime web app, I will uninstall this native app - provided there aren’t any native features added between now and then.
The developers should update the description of their app to be more accurate. Currently it describes their service, instead of what is actually possible within the app itself.
