Don’t get unless…

chat don’t get this app unless you want to find wallpaper inspiration or icon inspiration!! At first i was really excited and enthusiastic about downloading this app, thinking it was an app that you can choose your own wallpaper colours and patterns which the app provides, as well as thinking that it would add the icons to your home screen like most apps. but little did i know, you would either have to download a whole other app or just do the hard way and use shortcuts to apply the icons to your lock screen. i was fairly disappointed at the fact that majority of the “good” wallpapers were either VIP or “Locked”. the whole reason i downloaded this app was to make it easier for myself to add apps without downloading multiple other apps or using shortcuts, which would take a long time. the free wallpapers were decent, definitely will never use them nor the app again.

Due to recent changes in iOS, we can no longer use profiles to automatically set up icons as we did before. This shift has unfortunately led to the more manual, multi-step process. Cute but Annoying

It’s pretty easy to understand once you get the hang of it. I would also say it’s very cute, but my issues are that the app glitches, bookmarks (aka the icons) will take a while to load sometimes. I will click an app and it can take a few minutes to load the actual app. I also didn’t realize that it would be linking to the Themify app and then to the correct app after clicking on every custom icon. These are things I might be able to get over but one glitch I kept experiencing is my phone would open the wrong app after I clicked an icon sometimes, it was linked correctly I know because most of the time it would open the correct app but on a few occasions it would just decide to take me to the wrong app. Then I would have glitches of my phone jumping to multiple wrong apps after clicking an icon. For example I would click the photo album icon and then safari would open and then it would switch to the camera and then switch to a game and then back to my photos and then switch and leave me in the camera app. It’s like it’s just switching quickly between apps I currently have open in the background and just landing on one. The glitches are far too annoying for me to look past. I found myself stuck after I already organized my phone screen and Icons so consider that before using the app. But they somewhat work and they’re cute otherwise.

Love but one suggestion

I love this app it makes my lock and Home Screen look so cute and clean and my phone is way more organized now. I love all of the categories of themes and widgets and wallpapers and icons for your apps you can choose. One thing I would like to see added would be a search bar or somewhere to search or look up themes like the beach or the outdoors or something like that or a category that’s not on the suggested to discover. Also I think it will be very cool if you could create a lock screen home screen in the pages and then Put it on the app so when you go to search something you can see other peoples lock screens and home screens for that category that up. if I searched up the theme beach I could see other peoples home screens and lock screens that they have put up on the app. I think it would be really cool addition it was something that I would love to see on the app but overall it’s a really great app to make your phone something cute and exactly what you want. I also love that the free version already gives you a bunch of cute widgets home screen and lock screens without even having to pay for anything and then getting the premium just makes it all better.5 stars love love love ❤️

Love app a lot

Don’t bother unless you’re willing to pay.

I installed this thinking it’d be free, but then literally couldn’t get past the subscription paywall. It’s the first thing that comes when you install the app and doesn’t let you do anything else unless you throw money at it or use a free trial.

I’m convinced that the only reason they don’t put it as a pay to download app is because they want higher install numbers.

My advice -> just keep going until you find an ACTUALLY free app.

Disappointed

I’ve been using this app for maybe 2 years now and I was really happy with it at the start by now it’s just gone downhill and it’s even more annoying because I have the paid version. I can no longer change my app icons in one go you have to individually create a shortcut for each app like what’s the point I can do that myself. On top of that I had a bunch of widgets saved which are gone ? And I can no longer choose my large widgets it’s just blank now I am able to only use the auto widgets which is frustrating cause I like to change mine often and just want to have the ones I like saved! I will not be renewing my subscription and will be looking for a new app. Unfortunately I doubt I will get my money back.

This app is amazing. In the past I I’ve really struggled to find cute/aesthetic backgrounds, but this has given me so many! Although quite a few are premium, (which I don’t have) there are tons off cute ones that aren’t! There aren’t that many ads, which is a problem in quite a few apps!
The only problem I would say is that it takes a while to load. I don’t know if this is just my phone, or if it’s generally.
Other than that I really recommend this app!!!!!!!

This app is amazing

So here’s how it started got a new phone all shiny and perfect except the screen looked like everyone else's. decided I wanted it more me so I found themify while scrolling around. turns out it's super easy you just pick a theme add some widgets and suddenly it looks like you actually care about your phone! Started with this dark theme felt right and added a live wallpaper that moves a bit but not too much. but the best part is the widgets. put a weather one there cause I like knowing if it's worth going outside and added a health tracker too. seeing how few steps I take daily stings a bit but at least it looks cute. Also, had a funny moment when I tried the digital pet widget picked a tiny cat that sits on my lock screen. my niece kept asking if she could pet it then told me I'm a bad cat owner for forgetting to feed it so now I feel guilty if I don’t check on it. thanks themify 😅 Switching themes is easy too so when I get tired of the dark look I just change it up sometimes pastel sometimes neon. keeps it interesting. if you're gonna try it start simple maybe a weather or clock widget to get a feel for it. and definitely check out the theme maker that's where you can really have fun and make it yours.

Absolutely horrible

There used to be just a one step process that switched over all ur selected apps to the new custom icons and sure you had to delete the original icon(then rearrange everything and make it look nice obviously) and ssuure they were short cuts and not the actual app. And SUUREE you have the pay for premium for anything to actually work/be custom..3 Things i could live with and used for years. But my phone broke.. i got a new one and had to update everything meaning i was UNpleasantly surprised with this apps new update. Everything has been changed for the worse. It is now a 12 step process creating a new short cut for every single app you have and on top of that the directions leave out a key part or ur just gonna have multiple shortcuts all leading to the same app it u don’t catch it (luckily i was only a few apps in before i noticed this) but this is just to much! Not gonna sit here and do this 20 plus times for every single app knowing it used to be one click away. Especially when there are free options available. This used to be an amazing app for a small fee but now i feel like i should be paid if ima have to do all the setup work. What was the point of premium if im not getting anything done easy and convenient.

I remember being able to use the themes

I’m a bit poor, so buying the premium isn’t an option. I thought (reading the review responses) that’s there would be “a tom of free options too) but that was a lie. I looked on themes and tried to get the icons, but I could only put one on my home screen because apparently any more than one needs premium. I was super exited to use this app again, as I downloaded it and it seemed to work fine the first time, but it’s been a year and I guess they changed it…

Without premium, icons can still be downloaded, but only one at a time. We appreciate your understanding and hope you can still enjoy the app with the free features available!

Deleting

I wanted to get this app so I got it and when I realized you had to pay I wanted to delete it but it wouldn’t allow me! I tried so hard to delete this app but the only thing I could do is " remove it from home screen,"! This is not like a settings app or Appstore app, this is ridiculous! Do not get this app if you can’t delete and you have to pay for it! You should fix this in the future!🤬😡
