  • CSV error message

I downloaded the app and it gives me an error message when i try to upload the .csv file. I also get the same error with the sample file that it’s provided.

    Developer Response

Thank you for the feedback. We've identified an issue with spreadsheet software exporting different CSV formats. Some files include an extra blank line at the bottom of the file and some don’t. Our app didn’t expect the extra line, so we weren’t appropriately handling this case. The next version of Dashlete will include a fix. In the mean time, use these steps to workaround the issue.  1. Open your csv file in a text editor (TextEdit on Mac; Notepad on Windows) 2. Scroll to the bottom of the file and place your cursor on last line 3. Press the down arrow key until the cursor stops moving down 4. Press the backspace key until the cursor is on a line that has characters (be careful not do delete any characters in the data) 5. Save the file as CSV or Export as CSV, depending on your software. 6. Try uploading to Dashlete again
