Theory Exam 2023 – Test yourself for free here!
A theory exam is a practice test for the theoretical test you must take when you want to get a driver's license. No matter which class of driver's license you want (for example, moped, motorcycle, passenger car, or bus), the driving test consists of a theoretical and a practical part.
● If you fail the theoretical test
It might be a good idea to go through multiple tests, not just one. The more theoretical exams you take, the more familiar you become with how the tasks are structured, and you also learn the theory at the same time. Many choose to test themselves continuously while completing each chapter of the syllabus.
● Individual theory exams and theoretical tests for each class
In Norway, you can get a driver's license for everything from mopeds and snowmobiles to large trucks for freight transport. There are individual certificates for all motorized vehicles. For these, there are also individual theoretical tests, and a separate mock test for each test. However, most of us only take one theoretical test, namely for the passenger car (class B). To pass the theoretical test, it's not enough just to read; you should also practice the test itself. The mock exam contains the same types of tasks as the actual exam and will give you an indication of whether you have sufficient knowledge to pass the theoretical test. The advantage of practicing the test lies not only in checking knowledge as you read, but you also get a feel for how questions are asked when you take the mock exam.
● Take the mock exam for free
Some charge money for you to take a mock test online, which is unnecessary as there are equivalent free options. If you take the mock test here on these pages, you don't have to pay.
● Tasks in a mock exam
The tasks on both the mock exam and the theoretical test describe what you can expect when you are on the road. Traffic education is meant to provide you with knowledge you'll use when driving. Therefore, the questions on the mock exam are quite similar to the challenges you will encounter on the road. For example, a task may ask you to choose the correct answer from multiple choices about what a traffic sign means. The tasks can also show a picture from a traffic situation and ask you to choose the correct action in relation to it. A recurring theme on all mock exams and theoretical tests are pure math tasks related to braking distance. The common thing is that you must learn how long a car needs to come to a complete stop, depending on the speed you're driving at and under which road conditions.
● Practice on more than one mock exam
By drilling yourself with multiple tests, your knowledge becomes stronger much faster, and you remember them better. It will help you, not only for the theoretical test you will take but also later when you've gotten your driver's license and become a driver. Also, try our traffic sign test.
● Refresh your knowledge
Even if you've taken a mock test or theoretical test and passed, this will be knowledge that you should occasionally refresh. As time passes, there are many important points in traffic that can be forgotten. Suddenly one day, even experienced drivers find themselves in a situation where they're unsure of the best way to react. Therefore, we recommend that you test yourself occasionally and refresh your knowledge from when you had driving training.
An online mock exam is a tool designed to help you become a good driver and to pass the driving test you take at a traffic station.
Good luck!
