Simple and effective
Nice, simple app with thoughtful design touches that gives VFR pilots an at-a-glance answer to the question “Can I fly today?” Costs less than half a gallon of 100LL. Perfect.cshbell
Saves a Lot of Time
Love using this app to quickly scan METARS from across my state on a dedicated iPad homepage. I use the color coded widgets on the iPad to view lots of airports at a glance, and the plain text widgets on my iPhone for my home airport.

Missing Runway Wind
Would be a significantly improved app if the wind indicator showed the wind compared to each runway at the airport.EricStegemann
Widget doesn’t work.
It only lets me see the METAR when I open the app there is no option for me to set it up on my Home Screen. Am I missing something? When I go to the widgets section on my iPad it doesn’t show up there.California_Raised
Needs simple updates!
Love the look and idea, but there are two fundamental issues that make this app/widget functional:
1. Only airports starting with “K” can be added. Adding airports like “I69” doesn’t seem to work.
2. The widget doesn’t update regularly. Most time the widget displays old information and you have to open the app to see the updated METAR.
If both of these bugs were fixed this would be a 5-start purchase, but not worth your time in its current form.Show lessJegs25
A little pricey for what you get but otherwise works like you’d expect
Current aviation student and I love having the METAR on my phone screen easily accessible.
The only things I’d like to see are easy access to the TAF (maybe if you tap on the widget and it brings you to the app) and maybe an option for a wide widget as well (some of those METARs are pretty long).

Great easy to use at a glance widget...but I’m imaging a widget with that little wind direction circle filled in with a runway graphic. That would make it next level and worth a bump in price! $1.99 is already too cheap for something so handy!tenneck
