No way to save progress?
I think this will be a great game, it’s just impossible to tell since it continually crashes because of the random ads. The really worst part is there doesn’t seem to be any way to save your progress. So you’ve spent hours placing these really small pieces into the picture frame, putting up with these ads popping up every thirty to sixty (30-60) seconds, and one locks up the app , boom! Straight back to the beginning and no pieces placed. Three (3) day trying to complete the first puzzle! Aggravated and frustrated don’t even begin to come close to how upsetting it is.
This game definitely needs a piece placement memory section integrated into the app so having the app crashing all the time won’t continuously reset your progress after the continuous restarts. Stopping the ads from crashing would definitely not be out of line either. I am truly confused as to why such an obvious problem was never addressed apparently. Every other jigsaw puzzle game remembers where each piece you place is at whenever you close the game. So when you restart the puzzle you don’t have to start from the beginning but can continue from where you left off.
This game Requires the player to complete the puzzle before closing or start from the beginning of the picture you have gotten to. Which will be the first one unless you have enough time to finish it in one seating. That is, of course, the point of this review. Jigsaw puzzles where never designed to be finished in one (1) seating but to be enjoyed as you solve the puzzle. When doing a puzzle in the real world it might take days to solve a puzzle. I like to put jigsaw puzzles together, but I prefer to take my time. The various limitations on this puzzle game is bizarre.
You are not allowed to save your progress as you put a puzzle together. You can not make the pieces larger. Seriously?
