  • Not bad, could be better

App is a little confusing-here the basics.
    1. Search for your lights at a close range. If something pops up after the search, that’s your light.
    2. it’s either on a timer or not.
    3. Make sure manual mode is on.
    4. To create timer, delete all presets.
    5. Once timer is created, refresh/confirm.

There could be a website or manual or something to give you an idea of par levels.
  • Awful experience so far I really regret going the Bluetooth route

I had issues months back with the app and controlling my led bars properly but now I see y’all updated this app 3 weeks ago and now all of the sudden my schedule that I’ve been using since day 1 automatically turns off which then makes the light go on and stay on (manual light toggle flips on and schedule turns off) but what’s really not cool is when it turns on due to that “run schedule” switch -glitch it runs at full intensity 100% power. if any of the creators of this app have saltwater coral reef aquarium then you should know how dangerous that is for corals. I have very high end coral worth thousands and I really would prefer not to kill them all because of a cheap app that hasn’t been properly designed. If I could go back I’d either get different lights all together or at least lights that didn’t have built in Bluetooth cables. This has been a hazard since the get go and I’m really mad now because I actually managed to get things working properly to the point of actually trusting in this system but now I have all of these major issues all of the sudden…. I knew it had to be an update that screwed me all up again because otherwise this wouldn’t be happening. Im not home all day every day to ensure that this app isn’t just turning my led bars on 100% power so this is very stressful to say the least! I use these as supplemental lights to reduce shadowing for the corals to grow properly so during peak hours these led bars only reach 30% power on my homemade schedule I have ecotech radions and t5ho fixtures running this system as the main lighting sources. This is a very bad glitch it’s really putting my corals in a dangerous position and myself considering I’ve invested so much into this aquarium and I’ve had so much success with sps and LPS growth long term. Idk what to do but this can’t keep happening seriously…. Pls fix these bugs… PLS
  • Awful experience so far I really regret going the Bluetooth route

I’m using this app to run x2 supplement led bars over my saltwater reef aquarium. The led bars themselves are just as good as any others for the most part and for me they are perfect because I’m not relying on them solely they are just here to prevent shading in the tank. …. THIS APP IS TERRIBLE! I was having no issues for months and out of no where this app will just turn my lights on and off randomly. It doesn’t listen to my lighting schedule I have set whatsoever and their is no way for the consumer to even attempt to troubleshoot considering the app has no setting section. It’s as bare bones as a lighting scheduling application could possibly be! So what now I’m supposed to let these led bars just kill thousands of dollars worth of corals? I asked over and over if I could just get a controller I know they existed at least at one point because I see on YouTube other reef keepers have a physical controller that hooks up directly into the power cord in-between the led bar and the outlet…. But no that was not an option for me I basically had no choices but Bluetooth or a non controllable version that just runs on one set output strength. I told them when purchasing these lights that I ALREADY OWN 5 OF THOSE AND THEY WERE PURCHASED THROUGH THIS SAME COMPANY! I wasn’t doing this for any other reason but to have a schedule and a dimmer option that I could rely upon while I’m not at home. I don’t know what I’m supposed to do because I now own 7 of their products so if they think I’m purchasing anything else they are absolutely insane. I might as well have just spent the arm and legs worth of money on the same style/ build led bar from a company in the states because at least then I’d have a better shot at getting what I need right now. I went directly over seas to avoid spending a fortune for the same product and that really came back around and bit me…. If you are going to use this app to control a reef aquarium led setup all I could say is good luck because your going to need it.
