Incredibly accurate

This is by far the most accurate weather app I have ever used, and believe me I have tried a lot. I love the layout, very simple to read with everything you need to know on one page. The only improvements I would ask for are better looking widgets, Apple Watch integration, and weather event notifications. I would definitely pay a small fee for these upgrades.

Really good app but missing a few things

I love the simplicity and the clean ui, although it does lack radar (which open weather does have) other than that, it is perfect

Radar and Precipitation Push Alerts

Recently discovered this app and found out it is the source for some weather apps. Wish it had radar and precipitation push alerts along with AQI. Then I’d say it would be a pretty complete app. Seems pretty accurate so far.

Confusing icons

I like this app a lot.. especially the minimalist design. But the various icons for sunny, cloudy, rainy etc aren't easy to differentiate. The "few clouds" symbol looks almost like the "rain" symbol. And why is the sun even included on a symbol for rain? "Overcast clouds" looks the same as "drizzle". And what's the difference between a "shower rain" and "rain"? The symbols should be easy to differentiate at a glance. The only symbol clear in its meaning is the one for sun.

And lately it has been WAY off on temperatures! It displays temps 40-50 degrees LOWER than reality!

Must-have app for planning any outdoor activity!

The OpenWeather app is a game-changer for me, especially when I plan walks with my baby. It’s super reliable, helping me dodge the rain every time. I always check it before heading out, and it’s never steered me wrong. It’s easy to use and always spot-on, so our walks are always pleasant and dry. Definitely a must-have for planning any outdoor activity!

A great app, but with room to improve

I am a fan of this app. Its interface is simple and clear, plus (and importantly) it’s accurate. However there are issues on the iPad. The app does not rotate and editing, reordering locations does not seem to work.

Great replacement for Dark Sky

The OpenWeather website has a radar though... if the OpenWeather app had a radar, then this would be the perfect minimalist weather program.

Apple's official weather app has so much visual garbage, and frustrating to use.

The worst support I’ve seen in my life

Do not use this app or buy a paid version of it - if you run into any problems - the support will be pinging you back and forth asking you questions instead of providing any answer to a very direct question. Wow. What a waster of time.

No Weather Radar

It’s not bad when you compare to other Weather Apps which are filled with tons of Ads and the interface is clean and simple similar to how Dark Sky was before Apple took over. The only feature lacking in this App is the Weather Radar it’s probably due to the cost of aggregating weather radar information across the U.S. so if your a person who doesn’t mind the lack of a Weather Radar this app might be for you.
