Reviews of Seacoast Current

  • Might be one of the worst news apps I’ve ever used

This was a pretty good app when first released, but it’s gone way downhill since then, especially on an iPad. It’s pretty much unusable with pop-up ads that either take over the entire screen with no way to exit them, or that insist on covering three-fourths of the screen while you try to read a story. The “news” stories have become increasingly banal. The content used to be worth fighting through all the issues with the app, but that’s in the past. That’s too bad because there is certainly a need for a quality local news app in the NH Seacoast.
