Has Potential, but the Controls are Terrible
I was super excited seeing this as I grew up playing Cannon Fodder, but this is unplayable. The controls are way too haphazard. It’s very difficult to aim a grenade or use the rocket launcher without killing yourself. Why not have the same aiming system as the rifle, or better still have an auto aim feature? These games are supposed to be fun to play, but you simply can’t play this one. The language is slightly frustrating as well. Having said all that the graphics are great and I like vibe it has. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE sort the controls out so I can come back and relive my childhood.

Difficult
Not sure why people are playing this when you can’t complete the second level due to enemies too overpowered and my squads so weak againts them.

One of the worst games I’ve ever played
You have to read around 50 help screens before you even start to play. The help screens are not translated well, so I had no idea what was happening most of the time. The gameplay is awful and the controls are floaty.

Great tactical action!
Far and away the best game I’ve downloaded in a long time. Controls are robust and only on the rarest of occasions annoying. The missions are challenging while not being infuriating. The permadeath mechanic is a fun mechanic. Could definitely use more missions and modes.

Cannon fodder
It’s cannon fodder the old Amiga game but just more involved. Gameplay is spot on. Really enjoy it. All the menus, recruiting and stats etc etc etc are not needed. Should have kept it simple with the gameplay only just like the old game. Way to much to think about for a phone game. But that’s my opinion. Tank You Very Much.

It is a little difficult at times, and is realistic in a way that promotes pay to win, but, a well managed gameplay should see you enjoy this game.
