  • Potential for a new gacha game?

Very fun game. The memory gauge is a very fair way to play the game. Play strategically by keeping theirs at 1-2, bricked? Shove a big booty out turn 2 and put em around 7+ Enjoyed the sneak peek tournament event this weekend and have already started building another colour deck. Definitely recommend. 5/5 stars.

  • A Great Way to learn the game, but...

This game is pretty good at teaching you how to play the game. However, after playing many, many games with these half decks, I want to do more. I wish there could be other cards, and allow you to build your own deck and a lot of other cool things. I know that the English release of the card game is coming up in January, but I’m impatient, and want to play more than with just these 3 decks. It would be nice if this digital version would be fully realized, but I have a feeling that won’t happen (but it would be nice, especially during a pandemic). I really hope it does get fully realized though, after all DIGIMON is literally Digital Monsters in Japanese, so a digital app would be good. Regardless of whether or not more would be added to this game, it is definitely a good download to anyone who wants to learn how to play the game.

  • Excited for the card game!

Good intro to the card game. I also don’t think anybody would be mad if they fully made this one a full game.
  • A great way to introduce players to an AMAZING card game!

This app explains the basics of how to play and also has a really tutorial system. I’m impressed considering that the actual card game is physical and not digital. I can’t wait to buy the real cards and play with friends it’s so fun! This is honestly a really fun card game I haven’t enjoyed cards this much since Yugioh

  • This game is awesome!

This tutorial tells you how to play and if you didn’t already figure it out there are three card matches you can play though I wish they made this card game for a app to play online or a story mode I also think we need more digimon games because rearize is the only other game I would especially like for a digimon hero’s 2 to come out or just republish the first one thank you for reading.

  • Customization

Everything is great, but it needs the ability to collect cards, customize folders/decks, & have unlimited playability against CPU; With more options to allow choosing of ones folder/deck & opponents folder/deck.
  • Don’t by into the other reviews.

The first two tutorials are amazing at explaining the game. BUT what people won’t tell you is that the game is hugely RNG based. Your hand might get slammed with 3x of the same card and 1 random card. While as the AI can pull combos out there arsenal and literally digievolve first turn and will get +1 or +2 memory because of there cards. It’s just another Hearthstone with digimon copied and pasted. You basically get a beginner deck and are thrown straight into facing pro decks. Trash and pass.

  • Great tutorial

Needs a story mode like the original Digimon card battle for ps1
  • Work to be done

Great concept but half the time the cards don’t display so you cant read them and the block button doesn’t work so you are stuck mid fight and have to re-start the game. A lot if work needs to be dine to make it user friendly
  • A review comparing this to other tcgs

This is my first ever review for a card game, I have played a lot in the past 14 years of my life and have thankfully enjoyed it so far. This is my opinion, please don’t just look at mine when getting into this game.

This app is great over all, would suggest it to anyone who is slightly interested. Then when you think about getting into it, think first before you do. This game is unique but reminded me too much of Weiss Schwartz and Cardfight Vanguard. The only difference being that you could lose your monster in this game rather then it’s attack being blocked. The breeding phase is also unique, which leads to people having it feel more consistent with each match. You also have the choice to attack directly which is nice leading to a little more strategy. I so far have not went further into the meta of this game to give it a fair argument on balance. The last thing I have to say is before getting into this game check out Magic The Gathering Arena or Duel Links before making the decision of going into Bushiroad like cars games. If you are a huge Digimon fan then go for it, but if you want to continue in this first read up on budget decks and people judging the trial decks. This information will help you in the future in case you go to a FLGS (Friendly Local Game Store). This is my opinion which means it should only give you an idea to either be fine with it or disagree. Either way do what makes you have fun, and please don’t get into this game without doing research. Also don’t buy booster packs early into this game, buy singles instead, it’s cheaper.
