【Why did we create this app?】
We wanted to create an app that would be perfect for unique individuals who value their personal style, like Japanese actress and YouTuber Naka Riisa, who constantly takes on various challenges and tackles numerous tasks every day. With the theme of “colorful and true to yourself,” we significantly updated this app, which was originally centered around the concept of photo-based to-dos.
In the past, we tried using several to-do apps, but somehow, we always ended up not using them after a while.
We wondered, “Why?”
The reason was simple: managing tasks with to-do apps wasn’t fun. Opening the app felt lifeless, and the ever-growing list of tasks felt overwhelming and frustrating.
It might be understandable that to-do apps, which primarily evolved as business tools from pen and paper, aren’t fun.
However, we thought there could be a to-do app that excites you when you open it, one that you can’t help but look at even when there’s nothing new, and that just by looking at it, your heart leaps with joy.
Like creating your own unique notebook with multiple colored pens when you were a student, we wanted InstantToDo to be that kind of self-satisfying, yet inviting app. A one-of-a-kind, colorful, and personalized notebook in the digital world.
InstantToDo aimed to make completing tasks enjoyable and creating tasks fun.
We believed that even when looking at a long list of accumulated tasks in the app, seeing them surrounded by your favorite colors and things would help boost your motivation.
We envisioned InstantToDo as an app that not only keeps you organized but also brings joy and excitement to your daily life. By customizing the app to reflect your preferences, you’ll be inspired to complete your tasks and stay engaged with the app.
In a world where most to-do apps are purely utilitarian, InstantToDo stands out by offering a personalized and vibrant experience. We wanted to make managing tasks not just about getting things done but also about self-expression and enjoying the process.
Ultimately, our goal with InstantToDo was to create a to-do app that’s a pleasure to use and encourages users to stay motivated and connected to their goals in a fun, colorful way. By giving you the tools to make your task management experience truly your own, we hope that InstantToDo becomes an essential part of your daily routine and helps you achieve your goals with a smile on your face.

What's New in InstantToDo
3.1.2
July 11, 2024
I wanted to register a photo immediately, so I made it possible to take a photo instantly by long-pressing the add task button.
Love the picture list idea. Few apps like this out there. Could be great app with a few more tweaks but needs English descriptors in app for English users so you know what the heck is going on. All settings etc are in Asian text. Swipe down on list instantly clears listed tagged items so if you don’t know this you lose those items completely and will have to re-enter them. App may have in-app ads too with no apparent in-app purchase to eliminate them. Looks like a lot of User Data is tracked too. BONUS: Runs on OS10!
